Guys...I need your help....
I am in the process of paying the Right of Permanent Residence Fee...
On the page where it says Online Payment -->Immigration fees

There is field Number of Applications and the corresponding $490 fees.
Should I enter 2 (for me and my spouse) or should I enter 1 ,pay and then repeat the process for my wife.
Quick response would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Dear Peterpan2013
Enter 2 (for Principal applicant (You) and your Spouse). As it would be easier for CIC to track the payment done through single transaction.
Otherwise, system would generate two transaction Id's and that might create confusion.

I had sent the following CSE to LVO on 27th Dec

"I had submitted all the required PCC along with my initial application to CIC except Qatar PCC. Now since i have acquired my Qatar PCC, shall i send it to your London office by courier.

Also can i know the current status of my application.

Please find attached my Qatar PCC."

Today i got the following reply from LVO

"Please send the certificate by post to London. Your application awaits review at present."

You seem to have received this mail from the help desk and not directly from your visa officer. Few LVO applicants received email sent directly by their visa officers stating that they will get back to them in early 2014. I sent LVO CSE on the 24th of December regarding status update and up till now, I have not received any response. Still waiting though.

Hi folks!!! For people who have NOC 0211 my app was recived on 6 September and today I got it back ....

Hello Friends,

I have given my medicals on 23/12/2013 as i got a request for medicals on 04/12/2013.

The x-ray was deferred for my spouse as she is pregnant.

I have requested for the extension of my medicals until June 2014 to NDVO in a separate covering letter and also via case specific query.

Now in case I submit the change in family composition , new forms , new DD so on...say in June 2014 end...

Till which time the visa gets stamped..? Normally the end date of visa will be 1 year from the date of medicals..?

Is it from the date of 1st medicals or 2nd date of medicals..?

How is general trend for the end date of visa as per our friends who already got the visa..? Is it 1 year from the date of medicals always..?

Thanks for the clarification...

Best Regards,
Srujan

After getting the PR visa, we are supposed to complete our 'record of landing', before the Visa Expiry Date [mentioned on the visa].

The visa Expiry Date is generally related to EITHER*:
a) 1yr. from the meds, or
b) Passport expiry date of the PA or anyone of his/her accompanying Dependents

*Whichever of the above 2 is earlier.

I don't think so. When it comes to further review or processing of applications by the respective visa offices, individuals are different. We are dealt with differently depending on what we have in our applications and who is dealing with it. My cup of tea may not be yours. In order to have a clearer view of your application, it would be a good idea to request for a copy of your GCSM note. I have sent a CSE to LVO and still waiting for their response. I have also made a request for my GCMS note. Be positive.

Hope we get to see the first MR from LVO FSW 2013 Applicants in Jan 2014 :)

Some early May applicants have received positive signal from LVO.

I haven't sent the Passports yet, but the status on the ECAS was updated to "Decision Made" - Fourth line on ECAS was added: A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

So looks like as soon as the PPs reach there, they'd stamp the maple leaf and send it back. Hoping for a quick turn around. Let's see. I will update when I will receive the PPs back. I am planning to send Passports tonight though :). I already bought the Xpresspost - USA prepaid envelope from amazon.ca and using it for CPPO to return the passports in it.
