Hi

No, its not necessary, the funds should be in the name of any person, in my case my wife is a principal applicant and there are Tax saving FD's in my name, which I have shown as POF and the same were accepted by CIC.
You can show funds in your account or your spouse account, the same was also clearly mentioned on CIC site

Hi

as per my opinion they send AOR in batch wise,
CIC has made a batch files of 2.5 or 3 months and send them to NDVO and then NDVO issues AOR

As on date as per the spread sheet, the applicant till July had received AOR and most of them had also received MR request

Now its turn of 2nd Batch, August, Sep., and Oct. now CIC will shift the files of these batch and these will received AOR and as per my personal opinion based upon spreadsheet the same will start from the mid of Jan. (10 -15 Jan. 2014). Just wait a little bit more
