Dear mastfadi,

Technically, you don't need to update Visa Office about the new job of your wife.

If I would be at your place, I would analyze if my wife's job is matching to her qualification and that qualification has good/reasonable demand and reputation in Canada, then I would have updated my application. Let me give you the reason for such update; Visa Officers also assess based on their experience if applicant can get settle easily in Canada. If they find that the couple is a working couple and both of them have bright chances to get job in Canada, Visa Officer can make his/her positive decision quickly.

One important thing I would keep in mind before sending such update to Visa Office which is to analyze if my file is already opened or about to open at Visa Office, the I may decide not to update.

Just to conclude, the decision is totally yours if you want to update or not by keeping in mind that there is no harm or negative impact on your application if you don't update.

Hey Guys.. I have one little question regarding my application. I have received my PER and now waiting for the MR. My wife is my dependent applicant and she just started her new job, do I need to update this detail in the application? or does it not matter to update such details regarding dependent applicants? In the application, my wife's current occupational status is mentioned house wife as she was not doing any job at the time we submitted the application.

It seems like there wont be any MRs' this week from NDVO.....

Dear friends,

I would like to announce happily that i resubmitted my application on 04/10/13 and i got per on 23/12/13.

Can anyone pls explain what is VFS service

Veejay,

As far as working hours are concerned, these are normally equal for all employees therefore it is quite OK. Especially your immediate boss clearly knows that you are hired to work for how many working hours per week.

As far as salary is concerned, your immediate boss can know about your salary, it is not unusual. At hiring stage, immediate bosses are present with HR personnel for the interview and salary is clearly discussed in interview. Also keep in mind that your performance is reported by your immediate boss based on which you get increment and HR can also discuss with your immediate boss that if this much increment is reasonable. But if this is not the case at your organization and you don't want to disclose your salary to your boss, then you must attach copy of offer letter/contract/salary slips/bank statement of bank account to show your salary and all benefits with a written explanation that your boss doesn't know your salary and you don't want to disclose your immigration plans to your HR/Higher Management, therefore you requested reference letter from your immediate boss etc. etc.

Just to conclude, if your boss knows about your salary, then mention both salary and working hours; otherwise mention only working hours and attach other proofs with written explanation.

Hope your wishes work.
Though i am planning to send some reference letters and try to get it merged with my application.

I believe that they might have been late in acting; it doesn't make sense that Payment Form can be merged but other documents can't.

I am giving two examples below, in one case CIC merged the additional docs with the original application while in other case they did not.

Hello Friends,

By the grace of Lord Krishna I received PER today. :).

Actually I forgot to include Background Declaration and Additional family information of my wife in application package. I came to know it by 21 July.
Thanks to all forum members, because of their discussion only I came to know about my mistake. On the same day I forwarded CIO both documents with Reference Letter. That letter received on 26 July and I was lucky one that letter was acknowledge by Dexter as Application package was received by him.
Chances of getting me selected was very less. But I kept positive hope and was prepared for any situation.
Today I am lucky one to be in first 52 of NOC 2132.
Thank you one again forum members for your help.

Jai Shree Krishna.

Dear All,

My fsw apps was received by CIC on 29/08/2013 under NOC2113.
Only after, I have realised that the additional info for spouse is missing.

Should I wait til CIC will mail back the package and attempt another try if cap 5000 is not reached!

Your advice is very welcome!

I am not able to send again the entire package as the required original IELTS will be missing.
So, I send again the missing form -there is a new version: september 2013- with a cover letter to CIC by tomorrow and let you updated about any feedback.

Thanks 4all Maina and Congrats ... for ur 1000+ quotes :)

As expected, I received an email notifying me that my apps. was incomplete and that my entire package has been sent back to me past 14/11: The additional info. form for my spouse was missing.

I intend to reapply as soon as the package is back (I need my Language results). I hope it will not be later than December. Another option is to pass another language tests (IELTS/TEF) :-\

sam no update from my side ..n MR mail...was refreshing email since morning

;agta hai we need to wait till monday

Are we now on Nov applicants?

Rawdah,

In second example, the case of ckonedz, he/she mentioned in second post that he/she will send missing form next day and will update forum fellows but he/she didn't update. He/she also didn't mention in his/her final post that he/she sent the missing form but CIO didn't accept it rather he/she said, result came as expected. Do we know if he/she really sent the missing form?

In first example, sagarboard clearly mentioned his/her missing form reached almost one month earlier than his/her PER.

I think it is not decided by CIO what to add and what to not but it depends on the timing (well before review starts) and the luck of the applicant.

I agree that luck and CIC officer plays an important role in deciding the outcome of an application. BTW there is another example also :P

dear all,
the run for canadian pr for me, for this year, ends today. i have just received my package from cio. they have returned my app because i have sent the old schedule 3 form. this means that all of you, (if anyone else) who sent the new form later on, probably wont get positive answer either. i'm confused why they did not accept mine, when i know that they have accepted to some other people, but i guess that will remain mystery.
anyhow, thank you admins for awesome selfless work on keeping up and updating the excel, and it was really great to meet some great people over these past several months.
the letter i have received with my app dates october 4th, and my app was received by cio on july 10th. i received my package by snail mail to serbia in 24 day, just for the record. :)
good luck to all of you who are still waiting, and hopefully, you will have more luck then me, and by the time we arrive to canada, you will settle down. :)
have a great day!

How to check.... DD cashed or money drawn by CIC.....

AD
infact we cant exactly check the status of international DD either en-cashed or not. even i you ask Bank officer , he will not let you know the exact status.
so you should wait until PER email be with you.
good luck
