I forgot to tell that she took pictures of us with her camera and yea pictures needed so that they will attach it on medical forms and stamp it and give you back and some for their records.

Final leg of waiting starts..

MR Receipts, RPRF, PCC along with Passports sent via VFS and it was received by NDVO on Dec 24. Also Third line- Medical results have been received is added in ECAS.

Few questions, I would like to ask.
On what date did you send your docs thru VFS, I mean how many days it took for your docs to be received by NDVO. Also, any specifications on the envelope to be used for sending the docs.

What were the service charges for VFS?

Also, the RPRF DD that u made, was it amde in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada". Which one is the most used and enchases the DD faster

VFS is having office in Mumbai, they charge you some nominal amount per passport. They also have SMS system which will inform you when your passport will be ready with stamps to get deliver.

Canadian high commission is a name of Canadian embassy in India, with this reason I preffered it.

The name which will encash your DD faster is choice of yours....

There is no specific requirement for envelop... i purchased a robust A4 size envelop to keep my A4 size plastic file which had my complete documentation. My courier service also kept my complete envelop in plastic bag which was weather proof.

I opted for BLUE DART (costed me INR 460 from Pune to NDVO).... it is reliable and i had experience for it.... it was reliable for me....

They return the application by snail mail stating reason.

-I gave my documents on 20 Dec Friday and NDVO received it on 23 Dec Monday (sorry previously I had wrote 24 Dec as alert email from VFS had came on 24 Dec.) Please Note that I'm sending my passport from Nepal. They put all documents in their special folder.

- I made it in name of "Canadian High Commission" I think we can use any "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" Last time for application fee I had made it in name of "Receiver General for Canada". I noticed in DD that both time the beneficiary bank were same (bank address in Canada).

- For us VFS sent all documents like RPRF DD, PCC, Medical Receipt and Cover letter along with PP

It has one disadvantage also that it will not send other documents requested by NDVO with your passport (please confirm it... words of mouth not having any concrete reference).

Thanks. Hmm, even I am planning to use the same Canadian high commission. Hope it gets enchased faster. I had never prayed before to let my money go out

There are cases where the applications got rejected due to not listing job responsibilities.

But finally the decision is to be made by the officer at CIC.

Lets hope for the best.

In the meantime you may also get exp letter mentioning your JD and send it to CIC requesting them to merge it with your original application. But chances of merging are less.

You can also prepare one fresh application and send them.

If your application is in transit, you may request courier to stop delivery and get it returned to you.

I think get fresh reference letters from employers and send to CIO they will merge that because one person in forum did that in his case he sent new credit card detail with fee payment form and it is accepted as he got his PER
