Hopefully.
It's HDFC in Chhattarpur.
Chhattarpur HDFC branch will certainly know the status of DD. Ask for the demand draft status in branch's reconciliation department.

Hi 1111,

Really a killing waiting period for s..me too in the same boat. no response from them.

Lets hope the new year bring some good news with it.
Crossing my fingers.

NDVO is selectively leaving the NOC 1112 files for MR , very strange ... why they r doing this ?

Let is not let the mood go down. Let us try and keep it as "Happy Waiting".

@ Mr. Hope - I know you were trying to be + ve there but it only reminds me/us of unjustified wait time that does not correlate between VO's and between applicants/NOC's within same VO. Worst of all the previous year applicants are still waiting while some of us fsw13 applicants are cribbing and some are lucky to get Visa stamped.

Happy waiting 8)

Yaa, you are right it depends on the VO's and the type of applicant they are dealing with. but most of the NDVO applicants who were from the CAP filled NOC's received MR's within a time frame of 45 days on average.
Only thing we can do is to wait......wait patiently......until we get the MR's.....

Hey Guys,

Please help me understand the settlement fund requirements for FSWP 2013. I am a single applicant and need to provide evidence of $11115 available.

Please help me understand how to show these funds to CIC:

1. Is a bank certificate showing the above amount as the balance sufficient?
2. I can also attach a bank statement that shows transactions for the last month? Do i need to provide details (source and reason of transfer) of every deposit?
3. Can the funds be in a Fixed deposit account?
4. Is it CIC that would request detailed statements or the local visa office once the file gets there?

I would highly appreciate any help in his matter. Thank you very much

You will get the medical Receipt-cum-Invoice on the day of medicals. That is what is a proof of Medical. You need to send them along with other documents in the package to NDVO.
You should keep all the documents ready NOW. I suggest you complete your Medicals by End-Jan and spare yourself some margin days, just in case. The Hospital will send your reports in 5 working days and if there's an uncalled for delay, such as the unavailability of doctor to review and sign the report (just as it happened in my case), you might get in trouble.

[p.s. I wonder how the last date of receiving the docs is 9-Feb which is a Sunday.]
so that means sending of reports by hospitals(which usually takes 5 days time from the day of appointment ) should also be completed before 9feb...yeah its Sunday....but its as per them...

Bank balance certificate is ok.
Local visa office may request detailed 6 months statement or in rare case 12 months.

What if the saving account is opened new? I mean, if the account is opened just 1 week before CIC document submission. In this case by the time it reaches to the local visa office the account will be having just 3-4 months maturity so as the statement. Is that fine?

Friends...I have a news to share....this morning when I checked ECAS there is another line added:

We started processing your application on December 23, 2013.

Hope this is sign of things moving at CPPO.

Have been away from the forum due to my travel.....but any idea when I can I expect MR & Passport request?

Thanks everyone for all your help in this forum.

hello guys,

Congratulations to everyone who received their MR. All the best for your PR visa and travel to Canada. :)

I have a question regarding the FSW 2013 form IMM00008:

1. For Ques 6. part c) of the IMM00008, do single applicants need to mark "NO" or should they leave the question blank i.e. do not answer. The question states:
"Is your accompanying spouse or common-law partner proficient in English or French?"

2. There are numerous questions like Ques 9 part b) that start with "If applicable," should single (not applicable) applicants answer these questions or are we supposed to leave them blank?

Thanks, this might sound like a stupid question but I would highly appreciate you input.
