Ho can you say that our documents are suspicious. We have informed this to our boss and he is aware of our process and we have submitted all the reference on the company letter head. We have every proof for his work experience. They had informed that this was a part of their routine check and they had randomly selected 30 members

Yup......... It's routine check of random pick of applications......
Generally it's a part of most of immigration processes.....
Good luck :)

Friend,

I really appreciate your sincerity towards the members of this forum and sharing us about your experience just like in one family. This became very informative for many waiting for MR. Yes, your consultant is registered in Vancouver. We checked and understood that. But their Indian centers are not under the direct control of the registered member and some discrepancy can happen due to agency problem. Just be beware if they ask you some money for smooth moving of the process. I made an analysis for you,

Based on the data from the forum and CIC

Total NOC Charged in the forum= 465
Total members received AOR after charging NOC (Out of 465)= 71
Percentage of AOR against NOC charged in the forum= 71/465 x 100 =15.2%

So from this 15% of applicants are prone to get any kind of bg checks.....

Total Number of CIC NOC charged= 3160
if we convert the CIC NOC charged to AOR based of the data from the spreadsheet= 3160 x 15.2%= 482.4

Now based on the information you got from your consultant they already checked some applicants before they coming to do bg for your hubby. Lets take this number as 2. Then they checked yours and going to check some more from Chennai and Kerala it also can be assumed as 2. So total 5 members from this perticular consultancy undergone background check.

In percentage out of the total 482 applicants all over the world registered got background checking just from your consultant is= 5/482= 1%

There are over 2500 registered consultant all around this world. More over a large mass applying directly and through immigration lawyers lets assume this as 50% of the world fsw applicants.

Your consultant is having wings in India only in Kerala and Tamilnadu. You may be aware these two states contributes less than 5-10% of Indian fswp applicants (Indian fswp13 spreadsheet available in the forum). 90-95% of applicants are from other states especially from Hyderabad, Punjab, Gujarat, etc.

From this its clear the 1% world of applicants undergone bg checking just from that consultancy is really impossible in-comparison with others.

So i think NDVO is targeting just your consultant for background verification. Because none of the others have reported in this forum yet. Your consultants may be right. But I just doubt them as because they were giving you exactly the information as like from NDVO office. Those things are highly confidential and not even a registered consultant has access on these.

Bro.......

Appreciate your calculations........

But, I mean not to be rude or something......
Numbers you see in forum is very less when you compare with real number if applications....,,,
What I mean to say is,,,,,,, yes you are right with limited numbers on forum......
Many got physical back ground checks for your information....
CIC is too particular about background verifications.....
Pray that all of us escape those checks by fluke or by Grace of God....

Good luck

Farhan, Thanks for the update. Sounds good. Here is what i received for my CSE regarding sending updated documentation...

"Thank you for your email regarding your application for permanent residency to Canada.

Please note that your application is currently under review at our London office. Please send any necessary documents and updated forms to our London office, quoting your file number (XXXXXXXXXX) and name. We will be in contact with you in due course with further instructions regarding the processing of your application."

@dub2can - was your communication with LVO or with CIC ? (I'm wondering who is in the signature - i.e. whether LVO wrote this themselves or whether CIC wrote it about them)

Another good news from LVO. It seems that January 2014 will be HOT for LVO applicants. Thanks for sharing dub2can.

Dear loncan,

duba2can clearly wrote that this specific reply is received due to CSE which is obviously send by applicant to visa office but not to CIO/CIC. Secondly, in the body of the reply, you can find London Visa Office which means that he got reply from London Visa Office.

Hey y'all!
Life is so beautiful! So colorful....Even the rain in Vancouver is wetter.
I'm a permanent resident of Canada! I landed today, signed all the papers and it's all done!
I received my passport back on thursday Nov 14th! The visa was issued on Oct 31st, sent to me on Nov 12th and valid till Oct 10th 2014.
The 'decision made' status is on since 2 days after they received my PCC from Canada at the end of Oct. Visa issued the next day.
Did the landing at Douglas Border. The officer asked if I've ever been convicted, if I've ever been refused entry into any country, marital status, if I have any children or dependent and that was it!
I've been living in Vancouver for almost 2 years with a study permit and the feeling now is....different! Doesn't feel real. But at the same time now I feel like I'm one of 'them'! I'm part of this. I've dreamed of this for 20 years!
Good luck to everyone! Never give up on your dreams.
Daniel

I think CPP-O stopped processing apps due to priority given to Philippines apps. I think they are busy now with them.

Thanks dun2can - appreciate the info (+1). Looks like LVO are indeed getting started which is encouraging.

@ Abu Hassaan - sorry if I've offended you - I sought only to clarify. Tension is high around here, lets be nice to each other!
