Same as yours , i used DD as a mode of payment however, my bank told me that there's no way for them to know wheather the draft's already deducted or not since they are only using a third party draft from Canada. Lucky are those who utilzed cC like you atleast u have an idea that u went in the CAP, and im very delighted to know that your application is being processed at the moment keep us posted once you receive your PER

Hi Dada-Karma, my ECAS status changed to Decision made after couple of days since i received PPR mail from CPP-O. They gave me 60 days to send it to them. Thanks for the concern though.

u can know the status of ur DD thru bank forex dept.
just send them a email inquiring the same..
don't forget to include DD no., amnt, date of issue & payee...
Home bank will contact the foreign bank for the same and provide u the status of DD...

I live in the US and as per other forum members we are looking @ 3-4 weeks to receive the passports from Canada to US. Not sure of other countries.

Doesn't matter where you are. It may take more time in transit but as far as processing is concerned it shouldn't matter in my view. I am in Canada and waiting for 3 weeks.

I think CIC dealing with big chunks of files at a time than taking care of few files to go through the entire process. For example, from the spread sheet you can see applicant of 5th september also still waiting for PER after CC charge. Now they may be verifying the documents and charging the fee for huge number of documents thats why all you guys got your fee charged so fast all together. After completing that process you all may get your PER also showered in the same manner.
