Yes, your UCI remains the same, whatever the number of times you apply, either for FSW or other immigration means to Canada. Why not check ecas to know your status. If ecas doesn't recognise you now, keep trying, as the web page is usually updated once weekly.

Even if it costs a little bit more, I would go in for two seperate Demand Drafts.

Dear NDVO applicants, who already have received MR and RPRF erquest, this is the question.

The Language written on CIC website says....

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Now referring this, I have a doubt.

[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]The amount for RPRF as per Table on CIC wesite is 28,900. See details below. The query is, for my wife and myself, should I make draft of INR 57,800 (i.e. 2x28,900 ) or two drafts of INR 28,900 separately??????

I would suggest you to make one draft , Hope you did the same when you applied for FSW. No need to make separate Demand Drafts.

You have a very high possibility of meeting the cap, CIC is working on oct applicant now.Check ur cc or dd to see whether u"ve been charged. am an 11 oct applicant for NOC 3211 and my cc have been charged.

when ur cc was charged its amazing cic is working fast or there is reduced rush of applications. congrats for cc charge

Hi Vancouver14, Thanks but I paid the Application fees through CC to my Lawyer in Canada and they prepared a Money order for me.
So I don't have any experience with payment to CIC with either DD or CC !!!!

One DD will be enough. Can you please let me know the link, where it says you can pay in INR? I was thinking that we should pay in CAD itself and my consultant is also suggesting the same.

Why make two drafts when you have single FSW application submitted ? Make one draft and that too of canadian dollars, because the fee is mentioned in dollars. The indian rupee mentioned is a converted amount. Dollar may fluctuate but once the DD is made in CDN $ you don't have to worry about conversion rate later at the time of encashment by NDVO. Submit a cover note explaining the amount for you and your wife.
