Guys, I just received my PER last week. I would like to know when is the proper time of informing my local visa office about the changes on my occupation and passport renewal? Should I wait for the MR request before informing them or inform them now? Thanks

Great... Congrats RTJ and Raghav..... :)
Weird timings.... unable to understand....Are they really so hardworking..... :P :P
Please work a little more harder ...as many of us are still waiting for our MRs..... ;D ;D

As far as I understand, you are 100% sure that your 66 points are secured. You are little bit afraid about your work experience points.

I know few cases, on this forum and also outside forum, if Visa Officer comes up with less than 67 points, he normally gives one chance to the applicant to update his application by providing proper supporting documents to reach 67 points mark. Visa Officer also gives his calculation for the points across six selection factors. This happens only if applicant claims points for certain selection factor but Visa Officer doesn't accept the supporting documents for that selection factor.

Let me clarify one thing in your case, CIO has clearly considered your secondary work experience so there is almost no chance that the Visa Officer will reject your work experience. He may decide to give your zero points for that work experience ONLY if he is not satisfied with your reference letters related to that work experience. In that case, if you are not able to get 67 points, he will give you a chance to send proper reference letter to obtain points.

As far as your question regarding the relative in Canada is concerned, there is no harm in sending proper supporting documents including updated schedule 3 form. But I am not sure if Visa Officer will consider it at this stage to award you points.

Thanks A lot ABU.

Your words took the pressure off me. Just got confused regarding work Experience.

Do you think, to be on safer side, should I claim points for relative in Canada now at VO level? is it really possible at this stage?
