Pls when can i receive PER since i was debited on 27/11/2013.
And when can i apply for GCMS (wats the procedure).
Last question, i have an uncle in canada, he says his Citizenship will be ready by end of this year. I did not incluse relative in my FSWP application. If the citizenship is obtained, can i forward the details to visa office in accra to get extra 5 points? Bcos i discovered in the forum dat some applicants points are being reduced by visa offices, despite scaling thru initial appraissal by CIC.

You will get it within ten 2 weeks..
GCMS -too early for u to apply..
i dont think u can get points after you've been given PER...

and here you mention application date 22 nd aug is it correct .....bcoz acc to spreadsheet your app rec date 27 aug ...which one is correct

Thanks soundless and Rawdah. Rawdah do you also think that LVO start in Jan or Feb....I think Jan and Feb is alright but anything beyond means cic will not be able to fulfill its promise of 1 year completion time.

Can application be moved to some other office...i think it is cic's decision.

Okay so here goes, and I better get a lot of +1 for this:

Application was received on 23 May 2013.

Application was created (PER issued) on 7 August 2013.

1. GCMS Notes indicate that my file has been assigned to an officer at the London Visa Office (LVO).

2. The date date for the assignment to the officer is 31 January 2014. This is when I think the file processing is due to begin.

3. There are three subsequent background checks. (i) Security, (ii) Criminality and (iii) Medical.

4. The due date for completion of all three checks is 7 August 2014. That is exactly ONE YEAR from the date the PER was issued.

So let's keep that in mind. One year from the PER was issued, the LVO must complete all background checks and then move on to issuing visas.

One of our members, HimadriM has successfully transferred his file from CPP-O to NDVO after requesting CPP-O for the same.

Seeing the summary of GCMS notes I feel that that LVO has resolved to complete our file within 1 year of our receiving PER. But not sure when the first drop of rain would begin from LVO in the form of 2nd line / MR.

After MR, normally in most cases visa is issued within 2 months by LVO.

I thot that PCC is required only for the past 10 years, but NDVO applicant has reported that they had requested for PCC from age of 18. Past 10 yrs I am in Singapore, previously I have lived in US and India, so this means that I need PCC from these countries also isn't it?

Pls let me know the process for PCC procedure for USA and India.how long it will take for both?
