Hi, Good day to you all, I am a applicant of 27 August 2013 and new to this forum, already added the details of mine to the given URL

hello i did not find you in spreadsheet .....i think admin still have to add u.....
what is your payment mode?

Congratulations to those who got MR and expecting MR is knock away....

I feel MR is virtually a last milestone.. after this milestone only health of you and your dependent can put your PR in question..

Surely, NDVO is trying to justify words of immigration ministers... Based on this I anticipate other VO will also come in active state very soon.... People belong to other VO should not loose hopes....

I wish we get PR as soon as possible and we can continue sharing great thread to help each other in Canada for jobs, on any require information or on help...

We all should think to create new thread as a extension for same/additional members who can help each other, after landing in Canada... that way we can stay bonded and not alone in new environment...

Probably NDVO sheet is not updated with current MR candidate.

where are all the admin guys today....hope they update the ndvo spread sheet with new MR updates that we got today :P :P :P

Hi Guys,

I just sent my documents on 1st Nov to Sydney Canada, at that time for my occupation (Chemical Engineer), CIC website was showing that 45 application are recieved, now it is showing 115 applications are recieved.

I have a question, that what is the procedure which CIC is following to update the no.s on their website, are they counting/updating after making decision on the applications for canadian immigiration or updating counting on CIC webpage based on the application recieved (before CIC make any decision that its successfull or not) .

Now on CIC website its showing 115 application are recieved for the category of Chemical Engineering, i still wonder how come only 115 GEnius wants to move to CAnada? why so low in numbers? :)

second question is, I haven't recieve anything yet, but DHL said that your document is devlieverd and recieve by some buddy TOM. so now whats the procedure?? i read some of the guys post on this forum and came across a term AOR? what is AOR? pls give me an idea that what is the procedure after applying other then just waiting :)

Thanks,

REgards

You may get answers to most of your questions here - FAQ: http://fswp2013.wordpress.com/

The count on the CIC page reflects number of completed applications - these are the ones that have passed the completeness check, which is the first stage (fees being charged). These then pass on to second stage that is a check against Ministerial Instructions; if that clears CIC issues what is called as PER. After this the application is transferred to local VO, which sends intimation to the applicant which is called AOR. Local VO does additional checks like background etc. and if all looks okay, issues MR and finally PPR. Hope this helps, however more details are available at the above link location.

The 115 applicants are actually the cream of, God knows, how many Chemical Engineer apps CIC has received since May 2013. These all have passed the completeness check. And there could be many more in the queue as we speak.

Please track your package on DHL site with the waybill # you have, to confirm the receiving date/ time by CIO. You are urged to add your details to the global spreadsheet being maintained by this forum. The next thing you should hear from CIC is your PER (I sincerely wish so). This should take anywhere between 50 to 70 days (may be less). The spreadsheet will give you a better estimate about your personal timeline. In any case please provide your application details to be added to the spreadsheet (if you haven't already) and do check the spreadsheet as you will find it very useful.

Hope this helps.

True and 100% agree..

But after MR waiting, especially from some particular countries' applicants might have to wait lot of months to get through the security & Criminality check stage...
thats another painful waiting period...

I think for FSWP 2013, will not take too much time except you have very doubtful travel history, for which it require some clarification, those percentage will be very less.... by March 2014 at least 60% of lot will have PR stamped or PPR...

What if someone has visited couple of countries as tourist for not more than 10 days each, would that delay the processing of application?

Hello Friends,

My application was received for NOC 2174 in August first week and I haven't received any intimation on my application yet. I m located in Hong Kong currently and have sent filled application from Hong Kong. I have filed through New Delhi, I am an Indian national. I have given my hometown Indian address in my application. I have not received any Positive or Negative response on my application yet, please advise me where I should send the email or how should I find out status of my application. I have sent Demand Draft made from Hong Kong Bank, which I would need to encash in case my application has not met their requirements.

Please advise me how to find out status on my application as I will be leaving Hong Kong permanently. Thank you all in advance for helping me out.

Thanks,
Monika

Dear LVO Applicants who got GCMS notes and communicated with LVO, what are average number of days between PER and file transfer?

I didnt mean he should apply as a refugee.. I meant refugees could get PR while overstaying in a particular country..

How could one ,who's been overstaying for last 2 years, apply for FSW 2013??...

He is trying to apply as if he is applying from India.

Abu Hassaan said:
Well, NOVA21 is right, he can't apply under any immigration program being illegaly staying in Canada. If he chooses other option to leave Canada and apply under PNP or anything else, I am afraid he might get couple of years ban to apply for any kind of visa/immigration of Canada. He really needs to discuss his case with a lawyer in Canada. Overstaying illegal in any country is not recommended in any case.

Thanx for the reply Abu. What if he applies for a student visa or a visit visa by sending his docs through india. So CIC may not know that he is in Canada.
