And before these backlogs they were clearing previous backlogs, and before them earlier backlogs and so on...
You know what strange, knowing about existing problems with backlogs and processing times in these offices for many many years, they did nothing to address this problem. No reallocation of resources, placing additional visa officers in these offices, improving procedures...nothing.

I start to think they do nothing about this intentionally, maybe something similar to green card lottery in USA putting some kind of intake limits from certain countries for diversity purposes.

Yeah idima you are right. its like the are biased only for certain countries. But LVO i thought should do it fast since US, Canada and UK are allied. Moreover i thought their language proficiency and standard of education was considered higher and more compatible. Only that point confuses me. Sao Paulo and Bucharest are not such big places when compared to London and Singapore. Maybe places like Sao Paulo and Bucharest have very less applications to work on so they are processing their cases faster. But the other offices are already having back logs and now heavy new applications.

Yup the lucky guys are from Hong-Kong, Paris, Sao paulo, Bucharest and CPP-O. The other offices are focussing on back logs. All of us are unlucky since we have to do our process through NDVO, LVO, SGVO etc.. :(

I Just checked the Medical Monsoon thread...NDVO is issuing DM's and also requesting Passports for the 2010 applicants. Looks like its gonna drag till January. :(

Don't input yourselves in the backlogs challenges, CIC must finalize our applications within 12 months. its the reason which we have applied, certainly immigration's minister of Canada knows his job and quantity of applications (Backlogs, FW1,2,3 or etc) existed in there departments and Visa Offices, otherwise he shall be a silly man.
NDVO, LVO and other office's applicants should always remind them about their promises.

True if we dont consider the strike action after FSW2013. Now we may expect some delays by few months... and if we are lucky, we would receive within 12 months as per immigration minister's promise.... :)

Mohanna we are all being positive that 12 months is the maximum deadline. Hopefully they keep up their words and name. Cause Ive been waiting for visa's for a very long time. Applied H1B US visa in 2005 but till date no updates. Applied Quebec Skilled Worker in 2010 but till date no update. Now I am trying for FSW 2013. Its my last hope for a future in the American continent.:) If i don't get it this time I am gonna go work in Dubai. I am fed up of working for peanuts in India. :)

just join coaching in british council ...or else religiously do the booklet they give when you register..i could not join their coaching due to less time but did their booklet very nicely ....that's what I did and cracked 7.5 .... don't waste time doing too many things...just redo the same exercises again and again given given in british council booklet and be confident....just be careful with writing and listening and do more practise

As my husband was in canada for more then 4 years. It is advised to get PCC from the country who stayed more then 6 months.

Anyway we willbe submitting the PCC after 2nd week of December. We both completed the medicals. We also applied for PCC india through Passport Office.

Hello;

Three days ago, my e-cas status has changed from "Medical results have been received" to "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision". I have not got a PPR, so I have doubts about if my application has been accepted or refused. Does anyone know how long do they take to give an answer?

My application is been processed by the Paris visa office.

Thank you
