Yes i just checked the sheet, Ptleo already got his medicals done. Now, anytime passport can be asked for visa stamping.

My status changed to ' A decision had been made on your application, CIC will inform you about this'.

I did not receive any PPR from CIC yet. Does anybody have a similar experience? Please let me know.

Just saw my ECAS status and it is updated to - DECISION MADE.

After submission of the MEdical results and PCC I see 4th line below the MEd received line as-

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hopefully a positive decision is made, didn't receive any government email yet.

FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Thank Jigzyy... We are not sure, as I have not received PPR email from CPP-O yet... though Medical n PCC is received timely by CPP-0
Before sending passport, the ECAS shows - DEcision MAde!!! thats why bit worried...

Hey y'all!
Life is so beautiful! So colorful....Even the rain in Vancouver is wetter.
I'm a permanent resident of Canada! I landed today, signed all the papers and it's all done!
I received my passport back on thursday Nov 14th! The visa was issued on Oct 31st, sent to me on Nov 12th and valid till Oct 10th 2014.
The 'decision made' status is on since 2 days after they received my PCC from Canada at the end of Oct. Visa issued the next day.
Did the landing at Douglas Border. The officer asked if I've ever been convicted, if I've ever been refused entry into any country, marital status, if I have any children or dependent and that was it!
I've been living in Vancouver for almost 2 years with a study permit and the feeling now is....different! Doesn't feel real. But at the same time now I feel like I'm one of 'them'! I'm part of this. I've dreamed of this for 20 years!

the last form update was in OCT. based on that plz fill up new forms if done before oct 2013.

Thanks for your quick response. my point is no employer will hire an employee for a short time span ( i.e the time taken by the whole process for FSW to complete) . If my new employer knows that i have to go after 6-8 months ( if every thing goes well with god's grace ) , Just as to retain me as in the company , might can create some issues with the verification process, or might not be. but i m thinking of the worst case.
PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT WOULD BE THE POSSIBLE WAY OUT.

Dear as per my view there is no requirement of sending JOB duties on companies letterhead.... In fact just send appointment letter and resignation acceptance letter to get VO updated....... It is for just updating VO regarding your latest job status..... At this time you didn't required any extra points for that experience so JOB duties is not mandatory here..... Hope you get my point.

i have a strange situation

i have applied in NOC 0211. app received 3 july.2013. but no news yet

The main problem is my DD is about to expire in a month. Pls suggest what can be done in this case

i have been to bank to check whether the DD is enchased, but the bannk manager says that the other bank is not responding to their queries.

any seniors pls help

your apprehensions are absolutely genuine, if I put myself in place of your new employer, wouldn't be much interested in your personal ventures but the business. Sometimes it's good not to reveal, best of luck

Dear PLAYER,

DD2211 is right. You really don't need to send reference letter from your new employer at this stage. What I would suggest you to write an explanation letter along with appointment letter from new employer and experience/resignation acceptance letter from previous employer. You can explain in the explanation letter that you don't want to disclose your immigration plans to your new employer otherwise you job security will be at stake.

Just to boost your confidence, my current employer doesn't know about my plans as I never asked for a reference letter from my current employer but I only provided other available documents along with the explanation letter to CIO. It worked well for me and I have already got the PER. I believe if officer at CIO considers and understands such situation, then visa officer at local visa officer will also consider.
