ALHAMDULLILAH, exactly after 24 hours of CC charged, I have received the PER email from CIO , many thanks to Almighty Allah.

I joined this forum in last week of October and was able to track what's going on. It was really helpful to be here and get connected with a reasonable number of FSW 2013 applicants. I am really thankful to all who gave me encouragement throughout this period, which was quite tense. Now I understand how relaxing is to receive the PER. Time to take rest and wait for MR.

I just want to ask a simple question. In the PER email, I am advised to communicate with my Visa Office (London) in future but they didn't give any contact details of the Visa Office. Is that the case with everyone?

Hope all is going well with everyone. I got a question for you! Does anybody know whether one needs to travel to their visa office to collect the visa if their home country and visa office are different, or passports can be mailed and returned back by an express service (DHL or others) ?

No need to be suspicious about anything. After MR I do not have any updates to share. Only thing that I am not doing is asking questions, why I am not getting PP request rather I choose to be patient and wait for my turn. I dont think any one will post some wrong info just to make fun.

Also, my file is with CPP-O and not with NDVO. I have already shared these details earlier.

Be patient and wait for ur turn. We will get what is in our destiny. Hope for the best.

Here is the answer to the "passport sending" question. Many friends will like it...since India is very strict about considering sending passport out of country as illegal...this post may help to sneak out of this law.

Well its a complicated question, but one where grey areas in legal definitions play a major role.
there are two issues in this question first is it illegal for indian nationals to send passport to Buffalo.
Second is is buffalo doing something wrong by sending passports back.

Now the First part:
a typical indian passport says "do not send it by post out of a country but it allows you to send it with your representative" and at the same time it is silent on the issue of sending it by Courier. for the record when you use next day delivery and are using a private company for this what happens is that you appoint that company as custodian of your package and even when the package is on plane there is a real person accompanying the baggage. so by this chain of events when you send your passport by Fedex or any other courier you have appointed a legal entity as your representative and your passport is delivered by a representative who is part of this entity. This scenario is very similar to you sending your passports with you lawyer however if you do this same thing using Canada Post it would be illegal as canada post by charter is a postal service (No doubt about its status) whereas for a courier company this issue is unresolved.
unless an Indian court decrees that courier service is indeed postal service there is nothing wrong in sending passports by courier.

Second Part:
Unless you fail to supply National post express envelope buffalo will always send your passport to canada with a CHC employee and then it will enter the canadian postal system. so buffalo does not do anything illegal it basically goes out of its way to help people follow all laws.

My details are as follows: NOC 2263, VO: Accra, Date application sent 10/29/13, received 10/31/13. Signed for by Mike. Application package contained PCCs ECA and IELTS result and hopefully all requirements in the checklist but no spouse result. No family and no job offer in Canada. Lost credit card and then sent in another form IMM5620E with new credit details on 11/04/13 received 11/07/13 signed for by M.Conn. I was not satisfied because I only gave my Name, NOC and Date of birth on the explanation note. Besides, M.Conn didn't really sound familiar as I had checked the forum for receivers who signed for documents at the CIO. So, I sent in another on 11/11/13 with all details including Full name, date of birth, NOC, VO, Date and time my application was originally received and passport number. It was received 11/14/13, signed for by Mike

In case CC digit is wrong then you should send cic new payment form (properly filled with signature) and a short cover letter explaining the situation.
User Geverok's cc was invalid so he sent cic new payment form with short cover letter and finally received his PER.
But in order for CIC to trace the original application, pls provide details like Date of Birth, Country of Birth, Last Name, First Name, Passport Number, NOC Code, Visa office, date of receipt of your original application at cio and email id.
