Hey Vancouver14 if u stay for more than 6 months in a country other than your home country u need to get a PCC for that country as well other than your home country.

Do one need to stay consecutively for 6 months? or else 6 months in total in last 10 years.

Hi everybody!
Does any one have information about processing priority for FSW2013!
somewhere I heard that since 2013 program is more conservative than previous programs, in VOs, they will be processed faster than others. is this right?
Australian immigration program is more clear in this regard. they have clear processing priority and processing time for each case. Canada seems to be absolutely silent in this regard. (or maybe I couldn't find anything)

I am 12 Aug applicant.

I am a 25 June applicant and few days back I got a mail from CIC saying that your file is awaiting review. In that mail application number was also mentioned. But, now the cap has reached 300 for Mechanical Engineers and still I have not recieved PER. My ECAS is still showing in process.

Do I fall in the cap?

For your kind information I finished my medical in August. But my ECAS not shown ' we started processing your application on xxxx' till today.
But in September ECAS added second line ' medical result have been received' .
so dont depend on ecas completely..

I am in the same boat...My ECAS was updated with medicals received in first week of october...as of yet no PP request.

I guess it depends on the citizenship country...for some countries they might need more thorough security checks...So i am also just waiting and waiting...

Your application was received well before the cap reached.

But unless you get PER nothing is certain, you may be in or out.
