Dear Members,
Please be logical and don't let your spirit down.
Below is just my thoughts about the processing style.

Let me explain, as soon as files are transferred from CIO to respective Visa office, (say for Eg NDVO), NDVO will acknowledge the receipt of the file and will sent the AOR letter.

Then after, files will assigned to Visa officer for the review and simultaneous background checks. After the review is complete, files will be forwarded for the Medical section to issue to medicals. After medicals have been received by CHC, Medical officer at CHC will review the medicals and will forward the file for the Visa stamping.

The main key here is their will be multiple Visa officers. To get it clear, say
Visa officers(VO) are A, B, C, D, E.
Applicants are E01,E02....E15.
Now, VO A might be assigned E01,E02,E03
VO B might be assigned E04,E05,E06 and so on.
Now, depending upon the workload of VO's, review will be completed and applicant will hear accordingly. Hence FIFO might now be followed.

According to your timeline they received your medical on 22 October. they requested your passport on 7 November, which mean they must have done the Security & Criminality check within 17 days... Amazing..
In my case they have been doing more than 2.5 months

Hey Guys ...Pleaseee. I am asking this from past 2 Days ...

Any Idea from which email id would we receive the employment verification or will it be a physical verification??

My Suggestion is that , to get this info from which mail Id we would receive especially for NDVO and get white listed in the company you are working as the Spam filter can discard it thinking it as a Spam.


This forum is for getting information like this, which will help others ....but it looks like this is getting side tracked, by writing jokes etc...

raghav we may not get any email for employment verification. Maximum they would do is call up your HR and verify if u are working for the company. The chances of that happening as very less though. So nothing to worry if your docs are perfect.

Dear member,

Till now no body reported any background calls or e-mail verification till now.

But from other threads I came to know the background verification is very rare and it will be only invoked if they think something is fishy.

One of my friend from 2011 FSW program said his employer got a call from some third party agency on behalf of CHC-New Delhi.But the call was only to confirm if he works there,approx duration and job duties in general.

From Delhi Medical monsoon thread someone reported of physical verification.the NOC was for Cook and officials even took pictures of the person in office premises and while making dishes.They also asked recipes of few dishes to the guy.

As per my understanding background verification will be only done via phone or Physical.E-mail verification will be time consuming and there is no guarantee that some one reply to it and CHC would be knowing this fact.

Probably the cook was not having a certificate of chef from a reputed Culinary College so they had to make sure if he was preparing the food hygienically and safely or it might be a threat to the Canadian people?! Maybe that's why they visited him personally.

Just saw this in the ndvo medical monsoon thread...

"Finally after almost 8 months of medicals I am seeing the long awaited 'Medical Received line' on my ecas. Thank God ...........some movement is happening............... "

this guy got his PER in 2010 and medical request 2013 March after 8 months his ecas updated..... :-X

god knows what is to become of FSW'13

Nishtal those were older applications following older processes. That's why the delay. For us we have WES result so bg check for educational docs may not happen since WES recognized our institution of study and the degree. This may speed up the process. The timeline for most of our FSW 2013 applicants is not more than 6-7 months so nothing to worry.

Guys, I have a question here -

What is someone has to travel outside India for work and meanwhile there is request to submit the passport for stamping? Can one submit the passport from outside India? I understand that medicals can be sent though.

Thoughts?

Nirmal my brother had done that when he started working in Canada. He had applied for New Zealand immigration and they had asked for his passport so he couriered it. He just told that we need a copy of passport and the PR card or Work Permit copy in case they check.
