congratulations Annie

Hi

As per the CIC website, till 16 July 2013 they received only 51 file for NOC 2174.

As per CIC site

"Due to the large number of applications we get, we cannot check that each one is complete on the same day it gets to the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but are only a guide. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it gets to the Centralized Intake Office"

As per the members of this forum no one whose application was received after 30th May got PER, however some one has received an e-mail that there package will be returned due to CAP Fill

Just go to Excel sheet link of Spreadsheet below my msg, here you find the complete details of all he forum members and also the details of the file returned

Hi

I want to ask you if they check for "Colour Vision Deficiency" too? As I know from my previous medicals (for UK, US visa) I am color deficient.. If they check this in general test, will it impact the processing in any way?

Yes, I took the medical check today, quite simple and fortunately I passed the urine analysis. The doctor asked me to wait till next tuesday, they will call me if there are any problems.
What confused me is that BJ VO requires nothing else, no RPRF fees nor any Receipt for MR. So I am not sure wheather I should send Bank draft for RPRF fees or not....

I have a question.....My father's middle name is missing in my passport(also in PCC its the same as i applied through passport seva)....and in all other docs like birth cert,10th cert etc his middle name is mentioned...so in CIC forms also i have mentioned his full name......the docs which i hv sent to CIC dont have passport page with fathers name and also I have not sent PCC, so till now CIC dont have the two docs with his middle name missing, but when i will send my PCC...will this create some problem?)...will it matter or not???????? do i need to correct his name in the passport and PCC????????

Another twist in the Tale....................the Reserve Bank of India have imposed a mandate limit on International Usage of credit card per day across all the cards issued from banks in India...... which means one can only use ther credit card for abt 25,000 INR in one day....i.e CIC might not be able to use our Credit cards for amount of $550 :-\ :o ... I have a credit card belonging to HDFC bank but still would land up into this mix, don't knw what to do now Contacted Bank's customer care for this, and they too are clueless >:( :( :'(
FacePalm!!!

Hi, I used to work in a company for more than 8 years, this company phased out four years ago.
If the embassy would do work experience verification (check), I'm afraid that it might find it difficult contacting them as they are no longer there.

Anyone had similar situation?

Please advise.

Guys i have a doubt. When filling out the FSW 2013 application forms was there a column where we were supposed to select the preferred visa office (ex: NDVO or CPP-O)? Or maybe that was an auto-generated column based on our country of residence?
If it was possible to select whichever visa office we wanted then maybe we all could've selected CPP-O and got our MR's by now?? ::)

It wasn't auto selection based on country of residence. Applicant has to select himself which visa office can deal with his application based on his current residence. As a proof of right visa office selection, applicant has to provide copy of residency/working visa of the current residence with a condition that applicant is living at current residence for at least 1 year or more; otherwise CIO considers it a mistake and package can easily be sent back without processing.

I hope all applicants in the Philippines are OK.

Thanks for the quick response Abu Hassaan. You cleared my doubt. Just thought Maybe I made a mistake not selecting CPP-O since so many of them got their MR's. :D Any ways now I have to wait. :(

think we have the choice of choosing our VO irrespective of our country....seniors would know better...I didn't choose other VO's thinking I have to spend extra money for communication till I get my visa ::)

Hi

This one is a really big issue, but i think if we give a request letter to our bank for some particular transaction, then there should not be any problem,

Everyone who had applied with CC, please consult your bank immediately, because a wrong decision of RBI may spoil your future dream.

Thanks

I had it.
But then you got reference letter from that organisation, didn't you??

Dear agmaa,

I have a similar situation for my first employer where I worked for about 2 years. That company has been shut down couple of years back, therefore I wasn't able to get reference letter on company letter head.

Under such situation, I followed the instructions given as a NOTE on first page of Document Checklist which says:

Note: If you are unable to provide any of the requested documentation, include with your application, a written explanation with full details as to why that documentation is unavailable and any documentation that would support your claim. If you application lacks any of the documents without a reasonable justification, it will be returned to you or in certain circumstances could result in the refusal of your application.

I wrote an explanation letter stating why reference letter is unavailable and how to verify that the company has been shut down already couple of years back.

I believe that with such explanation letter along with experience letter, employment offer, salaried account bank statement etc., your application must be considered complete and now it is on the discretion of the VO whether to consider this explanation letter justified & acceptable and give you points for your work experience.

I didn't use any consultant and also didn't get advice from any third party. This is only my understanding and you may need to check it with an experienced consultant.
