I understand that but CPP-Ottawa has raised the processing time from 15 months to 25 months. Obviously they have a backlog but they have still processed some FSW 2013 applicants.

Why are LVO and VVO, NDVO not doing the same ?

Is the backlog related to 2010, 2011 and even 2012 applicants only, and we are going to the top of the queue ???

Well, according to Kenney's tweets (in April 2013), new FSW applications would have no priority over earlier FSWs. However, this was a political statement, which can be reversed.
Looking at the way applications are being processed at seperate VOs, they all seem to have their own priority system (e.g. CPP-O seems to be concentrating on new applications - which might be politically motivated). Other VOs seem to follow Kenney's original statement, like Vienna, which according to the new data spreadsheets is primarily working on older applications.

I think BC2013 is right, Kenny's statement is meant to be diplomatic and political. If he says, new FSW applications will be prioritized, they there will be a lot of resistance from the older applications who have been waiting since a long time. I think, his statement is calm ppl down, over the processing times, and yes each VO have their own priorities.

So keeping a positive note, Lets hope all VO work together and help us with the maple stamp on our pp ASAP.

Lets keep our finger's crossed XXXXXXX

Dear Sharma,

I know of a case (friend's friend) where his employer received a verification call 2 weeks ago. This was 2010 case, MR and PP submitted long ago. Was kind of surprising to see a verification after PP was asked, and that too for some old job. So, anything is possible with NDVO.

And considering the recent tweet, where all pending cases are to be cleared by MAR 14, our worst case scenario is we (FSW 2013) will get in process queue sometime in first quarter of 2014 fo MRs. So not so bad, enjoy waiting.

Yes I agree with you... as per the spreadsheet of 2011 most of the members got their MRs after 2 months + - 6 to 10 days.... but as we can see there are few members from NDVO who got their AORs in the month of July n August but still not heard anything from them.... might be because of the strike that got over in the month of September... n ofcourse the backlogs ..... :-X ..... so until n unless we will start receiving it.... it would be very hard to guess.... even don't know after sending the AORs ... the VO has even touched our files or not... :'(....... let's hope for the best .... ;D

Yes friend, this is quite frustrating that MR is taking maximum time especially in case of NDVO. In my case also, more than 2 months has been already passed from the date of AOR, but no MR till date. Wishing your guess to be correct, this is a high time to receive MR, as it is 2 months +3/4 days now.
