hello guys,
long time since my last post.
I would appreciate if you answer me, especially that I have been let down 3 times by CIC.
every time I was applying alone without any consultant's help, however I've noticed that several applicants have consultants.

Is it necessary to use the services f a consultant to ensure a guaranteed successful application?
How many of you are using consultant?

thanks
I would suggest consultant will be very helpful though they are little expensive....otherwise its so confusing with this documentation ....I see yours was declined earlier due to mismatch of your job exp....but I see even consultant wont guide you much in such scenarios...exp and roles is some thing which we should take care of with our employer.....consultant will only help in telling us what all documents are to be submitted without fail...im sure atleast 70% of members go thru consultants .so good luck.

Dear madman,

I am using a consultant.

But i would like to state....there is nothing like a guaranteed successful application even if you are using some consultants.....And if you understand the process and actions in detail your application can be successful even if you are not using any consultant....this can be other way round as well.

So its always a calculated decision based on your understanding and knowledge of process. Besides this forum and friends here are always ready to guide anybody in need of information even personally some times.

So...if you think of hiring some consultant do a careful assessment before you go for one...if not hiring...you are welcome to share your queries here...but read the application guide like you have to appear for exam...i am sure you will come up with lot of information and self-confidence for compiling a good application package. Many incidences shared on this forum are very helpful to sharpen your application and avoid chances of rejection.

last factor is luck as usual... so aplly and pray...we all do it for self and other friends...all d best.

I agree with three star as they are professional in their field and so the chances of errors are minimal.

The Experienced:

Which immigration system is EASIER to be qualified under: EOI or present system? I know that EOI will has shorter timing and probably more convenient form of applying. But what I am asking is if participating in EOI will be easier way to get PR for any average person..??

I doubt EOI may be as difficult as getting H1b visa to USA....so I feel this current system is little better

I do not recommend using Consultant for paper work. I know it is difficult to do all paper works alone but what consultant does is just provide you sheets downloaded from CIC website and do your documentation check. There are many supporting documents in CIC that aid in filling up forms. I have noticed some Consultant following the old or even last years checklist so as to be in race ahead of other applicants. So, in my personal opinion, it is better to go through all the documents and requirement and take help from this forum as much as possible. But if you found some trusted Consultant then you may opt for it as well as you have already been rejected thrice. Good luck

Hi,
I had applied for FSWP 2013 from USA. Received PER in July and CIO SYDNEY transferred my file to CPPO in September 2013. In the mean time, I had to come back to my home country, India, as my on site deputation came to an end. My attorney notified CPPO to transfer my file to NEW DELHI VISA office and also updated them with my new address. We received an email from CPPO on 9th OCT, 2013, confirming that my file is being transferred to NEW DELHI.my questions are:

1) Do I need to again update NEW DELHI VISA office about my new address ( my application will have my old USA address)
Not required if your attorney has updated your address with transfer request to NDVO. Pls check with your attorney first. If not then you should.

2) My application status still say that " we have received your application for PR on 17th may 2013." It does not mention anything that my file has been transferred to New Delhi visa office. and I haven't received any AOR.
You will receive AOR from NDVO as soon as file arrives here from CPPO. You may have to wait for a while as NDVO is releasing AORs for regular applicants nowadays. Hope you would receive it soon. All d best.

Please help!

And by the way what has happened to CPP-O? They stopped sending MR since 24.05...?
I dont want to scared CPP-O applicants, but maybe now they have decided to come back to their backlogs and make a break for 2013...? :P Maybe they have "wave work" system, one time current apps - another backlogs. :-X
I'm just kidding, but indeed their break is striking....
