Hi Maria, do share with us if ever LVO send you any acknowledgement of receipt for same. What I understood is that they don't provide any such confirmation.

How much time did you get the gcms file after putting the request ?

nopes nothing at all..just the gcms notes....from which i came to know that file is created in LVO....and some XXXX activity on it which we dont knoww...
i think we will have to wait around 2-3 months more...this is my guess

In order to best use our resources, we will not send confirmation that we have received your documents. If you would like confirmation of receipt, you can send your documents by registered mail and then follow up with your postal service. Once we receive your documents, we will update your file. You will not be contacted until it is necessary.

i am also living in uae and today i will be sending through courier police certificates for PA and spouse

As per my understanding all updated documents (original or photocopies, as mentioned in application document checklist) should be sent to LVO at the following mailing address. I am sending updated passports at this address, as I live in UAE and my resident visa has been updated.

I am from UAE too. I need to send updated passport and PCCs not sent with application, waiting to receive the US PCC. I had applied through a consultant and he is asking to wait until LVO requests for it!!!

Did any of you or others in the forum go through a consultant here in UAE?

Seniors, advise is it a good idea to pro-actively these docs?

I think you need to worry less at this time my friend. I noticed your payment method is DD. This I have observed takes time to show if the money has been charged or not,unlike CC. Relax your mind. I am positive you will get your PER.

Did you applied through a consultant or filled it your self?

I believe you have got Application file number and UCI. If yes, I suggest talking to your consultant to proactively send the missing documents as these documents are critically required for the positive decision. Waiting for LVO to ask for it and then providing the same will impart a delay.

Do not rely on consultants comments...they are idiots...
u please submit them...LVO is a SLOWWW VO....by waiting for their request you are delaying ur case more..send them asap...

Dear frnds,

I'm 27th May applicant, now I'm waiting for MR and PCC request from NDVO. Actually I got my PCC in the month of June from Delhi Passport office, now when I about to receive MR & PCC request from NDVO, my PCC is almost 6 month old. So is it fine if I submit same in NDVO? or I need to apply again for Fresh PCC.

Please suggest....

Please provide your suggestion only if you are sure enough as your suggestion is most valuable and accountable for acceptance/rejection/delay of my case.

u please submit them...LVO is a SLOWWW VO....by waiting for their request you are delaying ur case more..send them asap...
