Hello Guys,

I'm from Egypt with almost the same details as MarkOverMars, but i received an email stating that my file has been transferred to Cairo Visa Office.
and they asked me not to inquire on my application & Cairo visa office will reply me within 2 months.

My question here: why some people got their medical request directly with no notification for file transfer ?
Does this mean that application will be rejected, that's why i didn't hear anything from them for almost 1 month ?!

I'm worried and need u guys to share any info about cases like me if you have.

Your file is ok, but some files from Cairo VO transferred to CPPO and some file are still in Cairo VO
So u are in process do not worry

Just saw somewhere (NOT ON ANY OFFICIAL WEBSITE), that every visa office (including LVO & NDVO) has to conclude all (FSW 2013 AND Backlog if any) the cases by Aug 2014.
I's just thinking that we - particularly LVO & NDVO applicants - should expect some thing to come from VO somewhere in Jan 2014......

I received my PER on 7SEP and till date I am unable to check my status using the UCI/Application number provided in the email from
FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER
CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE
P.O. BOX 7500
SYDNEY, NS B1P 0A9

Whenever I try to check the status, It says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

Please suggest.

To be a professional engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada, you need to become licensed by a Canadian provincial or territorial engineering association. However, you can still work in engineering—even if you haven't been licensed by a professional engineering association—as long as you are supervised by a professional engineer (P.Eng.). I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Eng, Masters in Polymer and one year work experience in Petroleum industry. So do I have this option to apply as a Petroleum Eng rather than Chemical Eng. ?

New member to this forum.
I sumbitted a FSW application in June 2013 but am still waiting for a response from CIC.
I've tried emailing CIC to see if I have been issued with a client ID but am not having much luck.
Anyone in the same boat?
Any suggestions?

Due to large number of applications, they may not entertain much email requests. I think it will be better to give a call or send fax.
