Friends I got passports back with visa on it from cpp-o.
Finally wait is over. Feeling much relaxed and happy.

Visa is valid till aug 2014 as that is expiry on my PP.

Hope to hear a visa news from all over soon..

Dear Friends,

I have received a passport request from CPP-O today. The request came together with a request to submit 2 photographs and a Biodata form that requires to fill in height and eye colour for each applicant.

This info may be useful to CCP-O applicants currently located in the US.

As you may know CPP-O does not offer courier service option to return your passport back to you. If you do not include Xpresspost (for Canada) or Xpresspost USA (for USA) CPP-O will send your passport via regular mail and will not accept responsibility for loss in transit. These envelopes are only sold in Canada and you may ask a friend to buy and send it to you.

There seem to be a way around this though. I found Xpresspost USA envelope sold at amazon.ca. Surprisingly, you can use you amazon.com account details to login into amazon.ca

It ships for free by snail mail but if you are prepared to buy 2 of them so that the seller uses one to ship you the other one it should come much sooner. Feel free to PM me if you need more details.

Congrafs for ur Passport request .. guess u can get ur visa stamped this month

I have one inquiry ... in case that I'm present outside Canada and USA .. Can I use Xpresspost-international prepaid envelope instead? ... it's one option present on Canadapost website .. and if yes is it treated as Courier I mean is it safe to reach me or still can be lost upon reaching my country as orfinary mail can do?

Dear Form mates,

I sent an email to CIC on the 17th September requesting my status, back then I did not know my status. My CC was charged on the 30 September and I received my PER on the 3rd of October..................Last night I received CI response to my email dated 17th of September, which was as below.

Good Day,

RE: APPLICATION # XXXXXXXXXXX

Our records indicate a letter was sent via email 03 Oct 2013 advising your file was being transferred to the visa office for further assessment/decision. As we no longer hold the file you are requested to contact the visa office in London regarding any future enquiries.

Considering my PER was received on the 3rd of October and based on the above email yesterday (15th October), approximately 12 days. All LVO applicants can assume that their file is getting transferred to LVO within 12 days. I dont know what was the trend before..............Request seniors to review and advise accordingly. By the way is there already a backlog at LVO???

Any one got any information on MR from LVO.

LVO seems to be very slow.

Besides I read in one of the discussion board in same forum that LVO is clearing 2010/2011 applications (MR & Passport Request)

May be they will start 2013 application after that.
