Hi forumites,

At last...after waiting for 66 days since PER, I just got AOR (pdf dated October eighth) from NDVO at 10:14am IST.....processing time mentioned as 10 months... ...so again waiting...anyhow habituated of waiting now...

DD2211...we are both traveling at same pace in this journey...same day PER adn same day AOR...congrats mate..

Can any one help me. I posted a question that whom ( which address ) should I contact to get info about my application. I sent in Engineering Manager category and application reached in third week of Sep. I am worried as I have sent original IELTS score card and need it back as I intend to apply for australian immig . From discussion here it seems there is no hope that my application will be within CAP. Should I keep hope?

For Australian application a scanned copy of the report would be sufficient. Most of the visa application does not require the hard copy. For assessing your skills, you can send original of the report directly to their address. Hope it helps.

i had applied on the NOC 0211 and got the PER 90 days ago, today i got email from CPPO saying that my application is rejected due to the data on my experience letter is not enough and not linked to the NOC0211 general statement (Based on the work reference letter you have submitted from XXXX to support your experience as an Engineering manager, I am not satisfied that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement or a substantial number of the main duties of NOC 0211)
But i was given 60 days to send additional document before final decision is made.
can you help me:
- do they really accept new experience letter with more detailed job responsibilities?
- does any one have one for 0211 that got accepted that can share?
- i am mechanical engineer, can i ask them to asses vs NOC 2132

Extremely happy to share much awaited e-mail from NDVO. Today morning I have received AOR email from New Delhi Visa office. I have little confusion though. I have received an attached pdf document dated October 8, 2013 and the contents of Doc are as follow.

“This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada received at this office on 05/23/2013 (mm/dd/yyyy) We confirm receipt of your application package at the Visa Office in New Delhi. You must quote the file number above in all future correspondence with our office.
As your application has been determined to be eligible by CIO Sydney you are not eligible for any refund of the processing fee should your application be withdrawn or refused by the visa office.
Processing time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to,require an average of 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application, you are requested to contact this office directly.”

23 May is the date when application received at CIC Nova Scotia, but above e-mail says that it is received at this office (NDVO) on 23 May.
So should I start counting 10 months from 23 May or 8 October?
