Hello all,

What happened to CIC, no PER or CC charge ? :-X Waiting ..................

It's 21:45 hrs now and it is the first time of the Day/Night that I logged in, hoping someone from NDVO would have got their AOR.
Let me try again tomorrow. :(

very strange that ecas is still unable to identify me...its been 15 days since i recvd my PER...

Seperating by NOC doesnt make sense.

Of course it does, each NOC has a different date for fees, PER, AOR etc.

The AOR mail says to update the VO of changes in personal circumstances such as birth of a child, divorce, change of address, email, etc. Although, they did not mention of reporting any change in travel history specifically; which of course they can't for all the possible circumstances in one small email; I asked If I should update them on this as I'm myself not sure.

Friends, here is the answer i asked to my Lawyer and his reply as well.

My Query is,

1. A new passport received on 6th June.
2. Two business trips to South Africa
3. New Pay stubs I received after April 2013

Should I inform New Delhi Visa office about above information with necessary proof? or wait?
If yes, then will you send it on behalf of me or I should send it directly?
if no, then why? Will ther be any consequences later on during Medical tests and remaining process as everything will be processed with my old passport number and now I have old and new both passports.

Lawyer: The CIC does not need to be informed of any of this. They do not require updated travel information, updated pay stubs, or copies of new passports. While the application is in process, the only information that the visa post requires be updated is any changes to your family composition (marriage, divorce, the birth of a child), or a change to your residential address. As such, there will be no consequence. When your application is finalized, you will just submit your new passport for visa issuance. There is no issue with this.

Rest assured, you will be informed as soon as we receive further correspondence regarding your application.

hmm most of the time I have seen updates based on application date. So to track who is where, separating per NOC would involve more work.

Ok more I think about NOC/ sheet..I think it depends what you looking for.

If you are interested in NOC specific info, like when CAP reached, when they stopped charging CC etc. this approach make sense.

If you are interested in FSW timeline...NOC per sheet wont add much value.

There are 2 ways:

1. send a mail to CIC Nova Scotia to get the status of your application, you can expect a reply within 15-25 days (it could be more or less too)
2. You can call CIC call center and try and request to get the UCI no. and then keep checking that on ECAS. Its highly unlikely that they will give you the exact status of of your application.
Detailed steps for both the ways are well explained here: http://fswp2013.wordpress.com/faqs/

In my humble opinion, trying out both ways won't give you much info regarding the exact status of your application (might give you a little peace of mind), so i would suggest that you should wait until you CC/DD gets charged/encashed and you get a PER Mail from CIC.

And yes, after PER mail there is wait for AOR mail (provided if your VO sends one), then wait for Medicals, etc. etc. and then the final Visa Stamping..

all in all, welcome aboard the Happy Waiting Club :)

thanks dear

The sheet already exists. It is the "NOC Stats" sheet. A few more columns and you are done.

1) Yes you are correct on this.
2) No they can't pull your account statement on their own.....they have to ask you only.
3) This question was also earlier raised...but seniors had said that no they donot do cibil check.(but still confusion
more opinions needed
)

I would like to throw some light on CIBIL status check.

CIBIL is the rating which Indian government hold for each Indian citizen (more over a tax payer ) in order to evaluate his or her creditworthiness. Generally it happens with help of social security number in other countries.

To answer the question about Visa office checks individual's CIBIL status or not, I do not have any official information but i feel they must be doing it since India doesn't have any other system of civic status check. And VOs always look for candidates who are financially strong and who can survive few initial months in case of no jobs. Its a big factor.

I hope I have answered this question.

hi.... I have applied under 3142 category and my file was received on 9th july - 2013. My DD was issued on 18th june 2013 and it was of 3 months validity, as per indian banking rule it cant be of more than three months.
Now its been more than three months and i m worried as there r no news from cio.......is there anyone in this forum who is from india whose dd was
charged after 3 months ???
