Greetings Everyone,

I had receive my PER on Sep 7 and it has been almost a month now that I am unable to check my ECAS status online. It says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

I have tried checking the status using UCI, application number and receipt number, however neither worked for me.

Please advise as how much time it takes to show file status online??

I also got this message when I entered my details, but later I found that I entered my DOB in ddmmyyyy (mostly used in India) format whereas it is in mmddyyyy format.

So make sure the information enterd is right....... ATB

Please note my my app is returned as cap is full. I got an email from CIO, in response to the mail I sent. I am yet to receive my package. There is no UID number mentioned in the email.

@Admin, please update the sheet.

@others, whose app has been returned: What are the docs that got returned with you. I heard that few docs are retained by the visa office itself. Can you please list the docs got by you? Thanks.

Today, my wait for AOR got over. I didn't received any AOR , instead after a painstaking wait of almost 3 months I got MR , RPRF along with request to submit new PCC for spouse( that was not submitted earlier). But didn't received any request for submitting the bank statement.

My local visa office is NDVO, but this email is sent from CPPO and also they have mentioned in the email to send all documents and fee receipts to CPP-0. I am happy but little confused as I haven't received any communication from NDVO so far. Guys who have already got MR or who have got request to submit their passport could help me in just clearing my confusion.

NOC: 2174
PER Received: July 18th
MR and PCC request: 4th Oct

so in order to process each application within a certain span of time, dis can indeed be smart step from CIC.....

What I think is, this is going to happen for "some" cases which were perhaps transferred to Ottawa destined for NDVO when the strike action was going on, in order to reduce the work load on the temp workers (who were anyways working better/faster than the permanent ones). So, the NDVO cases where people are waiting for AOR - when guys in the nearby dates have got AOR - may be few of the lucky ones who might be having their application transferred to CPP-O. So good luck to all such lucky candidates.

I do not think that they will transfer AOR received cases to CPP-O as the file has already landed in New Delhi and strike is also over. Though anything is possible with Canada immigration logic and processes.
