FYI

Visas and passports: The State Department says it will keep most passport agencies and consular operations open so long as it has the funds to do so, although some activities might be interrupted. (For instance, "if a passport agency is located in a government building affected by a lapse in appropriations, the facility may become unsupported.")

Yep, thats true, i got that from a website too. But I am not sure if the passport agency processing my application is inside a govt building affected by a lapse.

Wow congrats to everyone who already got their PER, AOR and medical request. As for me, I received an email last night regarding my husbands application and our journey for fsw 2013 ends since his application was returned due to cap reached.

Were not losing hope though since I am a registered nurse and will be applying for qsw . Only a few documents are missing and hopefully I can submit it this friday.

Moderators please update my status.

To everone goodluck on your journey.

You are star !!!!!!!! all the very best

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear that. HOpefully you can still get your app back off and accepted next time.

Which Schedule 3 form was it? I ask this as my app was sent 1st July and got to Canada 15th July so I think I've enclosed the wrong form aswell. Mine had May 2013 on it and was not the update one with July 2013 - is this the same for you?

Yes, exactly. Only when I read of a similar problem somewhere else in this forum, I looked up my application copies and found that the incorrect one was filled in.

I have 2 friends who had applied under 2132. Both have received PER last week. One was 4th JUly applicant and other was 8th July applicant.
So I feel 1st July was crossed long ago. Based on these 2 PERS, I believe CIC has started working on 2nd week July applicants.

So guys just call CIC at the earliest and get your status checked. Also check your CC/DD encashment with respective banks, and hence update the status in spreadsheet.

My Daughter's passport was renewed after we received PER. Also we haven't sent PCC with the initial appln. LVO doesn't send AOR. So we thought of sending the passport update and PCC when MR/PCC request is made. Is this Ok? Please advice.

Dear,
Much better to send all new information to LVO immediately, my consultant told me that the medical forms comes with your information, which they extract from the forms you've sent initially with the application, which are also matching with your old passport, accordingly and in order to avoid delays, please send them..... below is our friend experience. .
