Since not a lot of action is happening on forum today, I have a question which might interest a few of us. like in my case i have a family where my Mrs is the principal applicant and we have a kid who is just 2. since principal applicant must land first, going there all at once would be a bit inconvenient esp with a young boy and having to stay in a hotel or B&B may be. Now the question, is it ok applying for travel visa while our FSW application is in progress for example once we have received our PER mail.

on wat basis u wana apply tourist visa?
do u hv relative there?

Because my wife has just received her FBI report. She have some confusion whether this is the required report or not as there is no original Signature (printed signature given). As well as they have mentioned in it that this is only for "Personal Review" can not be used for the licensing/employment or any other reason.

Not sure if our app is counted in the updated CAP of 290, lets see

My Application reached CIO Sydney on June 20 , 2013. I have not recieved any intimation about anything yet. people who sent application in July, have recieved rejection or acception (PER) emails. Cap is already 290 right now .

What could be the reason ? How can i check with CIO about this ?

Kindly suggest and wish me luck !!!

There is no question of it being outside the cap as your application was recieved in June.

I have recieved this email in response to my query about status on Sep 5th. I have already recieved PER on 19th September, but this email doesnt say anything about my file being transfered to London Visa office

What does that email mean?

i think you need to use advance search for this!! post new topic , i am sure someone will come up with response.
and got to www.expatforum.com , though it is australia immi forum you will get your answer there becasue
there i have seen someone having such a details,better if you search widely..i am sure you will get info in a day or two.
