But i think may b they r planning some changes which has made them super slow this week
I know v represent only 20% of the global applications but still no one is getting PER from any of the NOCs
Beyond 3rd july
U know v can only assume things
I m just hope watever it is shud b for the best

Well I promised to let you know when I heard anything from LVO.
Some of you will know that I needed to send an update to them as I've changed jobs. In response to my submission they sent a short but friendly email acknowledging my submission and confirming that my file is in a queue waiting to be processed there.
So at least I know my file is in the right place!

Is it necessary to tell the VO if u change ur job? It has been two months that file is reached to LVO but we are not hearing any thing from there ...

Same is the case with one of my friend .... This is strange as he was sure that he provided the pictures with application.

I pondered that myself, but my PER said "Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application...... new occupation or employer ...." so I figured it was better to tell them than not, the risk being that it delays my processing if I do and that they call my old employer and they say I've gone if I don't!

I received my PER on 22-09-2013 but I am unable to check my status on ECAS. If any forum member who has received PER around 22nd and is able to view status online, Kindly help.

i've received mine on 24th sep and unable to check ECAS, it will take a week to update. dont worry.

is there any way to check my status on CIC site.

you cannot check or know anything until u get your PER and UCI number. be patient you will be in the PER line very soon.

Hi all,

I've been away for sometime and a lot has happened. I am now worried sick about the recent cap update for 2147 as I resent our application on August 22nd. I am seriously praying for a miracle now...

BTW, congrats to all those whose apps have progressed. For those whose apps were returned for one reason or the other, re-apply this year or next year as applicable and let God direct your steps.

This is an off topic one, but I just hope Canada won't follow the New Zealand EOI, but rather the Australian one (but with not as much fees), as the NZ EOI would require one to get a job offer, or have studied there to get higher points cuz getting the pass mark alone would not cut it. Ones EOI could be in the pool for ages and it has only 6 months validity...
