Hi all

I'm a July 15 app (in spreadsheet) but my query is I sent my app on 1st July and took 2 weeks to get to NS (don't use Royal Mail) and in between that time IMM008 form was updated.

Does anyone know the exact date it was changed in July?

And my app contained the old May form - will my app be rejected if they changed the form by the time they received my app?

It means that your application is still in line for processing. They did not opened it yet.

Friends i have two things that bother me and would appreciate help or opinions:
First if i have applied under one occupation and were rejected, can i try with different occupation next year?
The other thing i wandered about is general cap of 5000. Do you have any projection or guesses up to which date will it be safe to send regarding this limit?

Hi,

You can try another occupation next year if you have the desired and relevant years of experience in that occupation. This is what is key. For you to meet the deadline, you have to be extremely proactive and start to gather most of your documents and have them handy and ready. Be sure that you can get the reference letter and Employment contract letter for that occupation. As some NOCs filled up very quickly, be sure to submit your application atleast within the 1st week of reopening.

No, it doesn't mean anything. If the CAP reached before they open your application they will send it back without assessing it together with rejection letter stated the reason.

The following is a comparison done by our friend Ziad between the new and the old form and here is the conclusion:

I made a quick check on the difference between the two forms and found out that the only difference is that they put a star * next to the question that must be answered and left the optional questions without it, so all the questions are the same.

So, please relax as there is nothing to do while your file is already with CIC ;D

But i think may b they r planning some changes which has made them super slow this week
I know v represent only 20% of the global applications but still no one is getting PER from any of the NOCs
Beyond 3rd july
U know v can only assume things
I m just hope watever it is shud b for the best

Well I promised to let you know when I heard anything from LVO.
Some of you will know that I needed to send an update to them as I've changed jobs. In response to my submission they sent a short but friendly email acknowledging my submission and confirming that my file is in a queue waiting to be processed there.
So at least I know my file is in the right place!
