 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent

That means NDVO is working on 2010 applicants .. It took 3 years to get the MR.. What about those who are 2013 applicants. ?

No wonder if we are asked to wait another 2 yrs.. n e ways I heard that there is at least 10 months process time after the file gets transferred to Local visa office .. which is 1.5 yrs from the day applied from approximately ..!!!

I wonder why only NDVO is facing that situation. Rest VO are so fast... I assume that NDVO is busy in clearing backlog till the time they didnt clear the backlog they wont proceed for 2013 applicants.

Process is totally different. 2013 applicants will get it in 9-12 months time.

Hi,
how do we come to know if our DD is encashed? i called the bank manager today and he stated that we will not be able to tell you the status....
is there any other way.....? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

In my case I gave the details of my DD (SN) to one of my relatives in Canada.
I checked for the destination bank contacts in Canada via Google.
I gave all the necessary info to the guy.
And he kept on calling the bank every week ... until he got the good news. ;D ;D ;D

When CIC opened FSW Program 2013 it was mentioned that it will be around one year
Here is the text
"As a result of the Action Plan for Faster Immigration and Economic Action Plan 2012, the backlog for the FSWP has been nearly eliminated, and new applications are being processed in approximately one year."

Hope they fulfill this :D

so it's going to be morning in nova scotia ;D
