Guys, unfortunately I have not been successful this year for NOC 2174 as the CAP was full. I am now looking at other options, most likely studying at Humber College on the Global Business Management Course. Thanks to everyone for your assistance and support. Good luck to all who have applied! Does anybody know how long till I receive my application back via mail? As stated below, it was sent back on 4th September...

For your reference, this is what CIC replied with...

I have got an email from VO acknowledging that they have received my file. Can you update this information in the spreadsheet? Thank you.

I am surprised because I got this email yesterday, on a Sunday. Do employees from Paris-VO work on Sunday?

Does anybody knows what is the matter with Vienna VO? Nobody from this forum didn`t get AOR, even the ones that got PER among the first ones..
Someone mentioned earlier that Vienna VO doesn't send AOR's, so I guess we should expect MR instead.

I strongly believe applications are bring sent back with ship/land than air mail as its cheaper option for cic. If so this takes about 4 weeks so you should have your pack by early October, next week maybe

Friends

Good afternoon all.

I have a doubt. My place of desired destination in Canada is Toronto. God willing if everything goes well and my immigration gets stamped in the future date, and my current employer is willing to put me offshore, their place of office is in Montreal. Can i sit at Montreal office for work and stay in Montreal too? with my regular immigration visa?

Can i land in Montreal with my immigration stamped and offer letter issued from my current employer whose office is in Montreal? In that case can i bring my family along too?

Will that be an issue because Quebec immigration has different process?

Kindly let me know.

thanks

You have to follow Quebec Immigration Process, as it is different from Canadian immigration in some aspects. They require French language assessment and not English.

so you mean to say that i cannot land in Montreal and work from there with the regular immigration visa

So is it possible i stay in Toronto for a month finish the process, then move to Montreal to work?and live?

My guess is he is still following FSW way of immigrating to Canada and once he lands up in Canada, he is free to travel and work anywhere in Canada. Isnt that the case. I dont think he is following the QSW way of immigrating

Under FSW immigration u r free to go anywhere in Canada except Quebec.

For Quebec, u would need to apply for Quebec Immigration process to work and live.
