Actully bank only can confirm the status, they need to send mail to their forex dept than forex will check with their canada branch/partner bank about encashment. some time bank persond do not like to do this procedure so they denied. there is no otherway to confirm encashment.

how do we come to know if our DD is encashed? i called the bank manager today and he stated that we will not be able to tell you the status....

Hi DD2211, your friend applied through consultant or by himself. I mean does he received PER directly from CIC or VIA consultant!!

As per my opinion, you are very late in applying, like me

But no one knows how CIC works, but as per this spreadsheet and the PER received by the persons sharing experience here, the chances are very rare, but hope for the best

I have a doubt regarding reference letters
I sent the true copies of the reference letters
Did i make a mistake did i have to send originals??
By true copies i mean i got the photocopies attested by a notary

Don't be worried.
I've sent photocopies as stated on checklist and I got my PR.

Pre assessed means if thru consultants, they have checked your documents and evaluated it with its corresponding points, or if direct, you yourself has evaluated your points based on cic standards or evaluation guidelines.

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on September 4, 2013 as the cap of NOC 2174 has been reached. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.

Thanks. I am feeling bad because I tried really hard without consultants along with Job and Kid. And because of services of a stupid DHL, I lost my chance. I would have been in CAP coz I sent it earlier.

NOC 2174 was closed as early as aug. 24, 2013 my friend, just take it easy and settle down, move on.

I assure you, more windows will open your way and besides, prepare those documents for next opening, this is not yet the end of everything.
