3) Applications received by NOC - under global category, the total counts seems fluctuating. The count for 2131 till yesterday was 273 but now its 262 (though its good for me Grin).......do i have chance of making it into cap ?
- The count under global category is an approximation based on applicants present on the forum and CIC'c latest update. 2131 global estimation is 123. I don't know where you got 273 and 262 from !!!. Regarding your NOC, I think you might have 50-50 chances but no one can clearly predict.

I was referring to the spreadsheet FSWP May 2013 Applicants under tab Application received by NOC where it shows as of now global count at 262. till yesterday it was 273. (please have a look in the spreadsheet docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aovj20uHVWyzdGFqSGJUOEtVX0h5eWM0cXB5dlAtOEE#gid=19) very very confused about it :-\. against NOC 2131 - the completed application counted by CIC is of course 123.


6) Proof of Fund :
- If my guess is not wrong, by the time VO asks for your updated POF, 90 - 120 days would have already passed or may be more depending upon the pace of your NOC. (provided the CAP did not get full by the time your file is processed). When asked for updated funds, you can show the selling invoice/VAT bill for gold.
I purchased those gold while i was in Dubai (from Joyalukas) for employment. I do have bills but not sure, if it is vat bills. getting really worried aboit it

can anyone address my below concern

I have received by AOR from New Delhi Visa Office in the beginning of september. Will VO ask me again to submit the bank statement.
Though when I am applied for visa :- I had sent them a Fixed deposit of the required amount ( as per the CIC guidelines) and that fixed depost has been made by my dad and is solely on my name and still exists.

Please address my above query .

Great news that people start receiving medical and passport request. Anyone from London office ? What they are doing ?

I have recently changed my job. Is it necessary to report to visa officer that I have switched the job ? What if I don't want to tell them ?? After receiving PER, I have travelled abroad ... Shall I report every travelling to VO ?

I don't think you need to report anything until VO asks you for any updates ...

London VO is taking their time, not sure if this is related to the strike or they have a lot more applications to deal with ?

I'd like to know that too ... Perhaps we should all transfer file to CPP Ottawa as the processing times are a lot faster Is this possible at all ?

Ahh... so sorry. I was looking at the CIC update. The global app is just our estimation - can be good can be bad. I see you might be a bit late as of September but nothing can be really predicted until CIC throws some light using CAP updates. You do not have to worry on what you did already. Chill and have a good time with rest of the things in life. If it's in your destiny, you'll get it. This is just a beginning, not END. Long way to go Bro.
Regarding Bill, it's fine if it came from a merchant. If be asked by VO anytime for updated POF, attach a notarized copy along with other financial docs.

If all your documents are in place already (there are high chances of which as CIC-NS would have already scanned thorough your document completeness), they'll simply jump to MR, update POF (optional), then Passport and you'll be set.
Fewer are chances where VO might want you to visit in-person for an interview and show original docs. Or if they want to cross verify some part of your credentials will they be asking for some document.

Got an email yesterday from CIC sydney in reply to my email on Aug 23 for status update. It says you were sent acknowledgement letter on Aug 27 and then your file was transferred to your visa office.

hey there

first of all apologies if this query has been answered already....i am one of the unfortunate ones who missed out 1112 cap...my package had reached canada on july 10th ....i want to know if anyone in my shoe has contacted cic already or got back their package? assuming that they have started returning packages of all who missed the cap...and if not whats your view on plan of action...the package has original docs like ielts and wes reports and ill need it to make my application again for next year..
