Dear Forum Members
,
Warm greetings.
It's been around 10 days i have been reading and following posts in this wonderful forum. I must say, this forum is very vibrant and informative. I came to know about this forum, the day after I sent my application to CIC. I would have been benefited a lot, had i noticed this Forum before. I wasted lot of time collecting information and waiting for reply from other friends and CIC
. Nevertheless, somehow i managed to send my complete application on 8 Sept. 2013 and it reached CIC (Nova Scotia) on 12 Sept. 2013. Few details are as below :
NOC Code : 2131
Application received by CIC : 12 Sept 2013 (as per info by courier service)
Courier Service used : Fedex
Visa Office : New Delhi
Self Calculated Points : 75
Relative in Canada : Yes
Canada Location : Alberta
Ielts Band : 7.5
PCC Submitted : Yes
Admin please update my details in spreadsheet
Though i am new on this forum, still i have few queries and also would like to add some issue for discussion:
1) Returned Application on Spreadsheet - some applications were returned due to not signing of Payment form. I presume this is required only when payment is to be done by CC. I used DD for payment and i did not find any location to sign on payment form in this regard.
2) In one of the replies (cant remember the page no
), I noticed that one VO has asked an applicant to submit copy of experience letter but not the original (though he/she sent original). So, in my opinion it would be just good for new applicant who are yet to submit application, to follow the document checklist strictly where it clearly indicates which documents to be submitted in original.
3) I have seen in Spreadsheet - Applications received by NOC - under global category, the total counts seems fluctuating. The count for 2131 till yesterday was 273 but now its 262 (though its good for me ;D). I am really concern about the global count as in my opinion the fate of application would depend upon the global count. the more it is, the less chances to be in Cap. Need guidance, from seniors : do i have chance of making it into cap ?
4) My relative in Canada has said that the more simpler is the documentation (like personal history and travel) the less is the chances of CIC asking further documents or clarifications. So in my opinion, it would be good for new applicant to just keep things simple and if possible to avoid overlapping of time periods.
5) Regarding Passport copy - The document checklist clearly indicates only pages showing personal details and and any ammendments should be sent. I noticed in this forum, some applicants have suggested to send all pages of passport (that includes stamping of visa, entry exit etc). Need guidance from seniors in this matter.
6) Proof of Fund : Very serious topic to me. Before sending application, I managed to deposit the required amount in one single bank as stipulated by CIC by transferring some funds from my other bank and some by selling off the gold that i had. The bank statement showed the amount as of 6 September 2013. And i will maintain this amount until i get my Visa ( ;D). My great concern is : Some member have reported of receiving letter from VO to send bank statement for 6 months period. so this happens to me also, then what would be the consequence as prior to 01 Sept, i had just around 250 CAD in my bank from which i made statement. How will i convince them that i had gold which i sold off to manage funds ? :-\ :-\ :-\
I do have other concern as well, but it seems i have already typed a lot and don't wanna bore members of this forum. Please have a look of my issues and provide me your best guidance as i am in desperate need of it.
