How do you know that "No points were assigned for any other employment because the main duties of my work experience were not listed in the employers letters"?
Have you received any email in which is specified this reason?
Did you specify in that other letters the period of employment, the income earned and the number of daily/weekly working hours and the Canadian NOC equivalent of your job?

Hey Friends,

I may be first to get NER from CIC.

Reason: i was assigned 9 points for my 1 year of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work, within the 10 years before the date on which my application was made in accordance with R 80 of IRPA. Points were assigned for me work experience as a Senior Software Engineer with XYZ company from July 2011 to January 19, 2013. No points were assigned for any other employment because the main duties of my work experience were not listed in the employers letters. Self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable evidence of work experience.

i got only one job desc letter from one company and others had refused to give me. so, i sent affidavits. So, my points are 66 now.

Congrats Vancouver14.....Feeling excited.finally CIC started reviewing July applicants. Will you please mention what was your payment method DD/CC? And what is the date for encasement?

To the Glory of Almighty God, I noticed my CC just got charged a few minutes ago.

Yes, in case of NER they send an email and explain everything.
Yes, i have submitted all letters, income tax return, form16 (company is giving you when TDS has been deducted), but i was not much fortunate to get special job duty letter from other companies and that led me to NER.

But you don't worry, it was my bad luck, there are so many applicants are able to through it without much efforts.
getting visa from canada, is not your caliber, but you need good luck.

Now, one more seat is available for 2174 category.

Today I have received my file back which was sent back by CIO on 7 Aug. Reason.... CC could not be charged.

I applied under NOC 2147 and file was received on 5 June.

I also qualify under NOC 0211, do you think I should send application using NOC 0211. Any chance that I can get within CAP???

Dear fasohere,

190 till yesterday, where CIC were charging June 28th Applicants.. If you send your application tomorrow it would reach on 25th Sep. Seems chances are very less.

But still, I think you should resend your package ASAP. At least give a try. Who knows what Allah planned for us...

CC. Funds blocked on my CC for equivalent amount of CAD1400, which I know I haven't authorised for another purpose. I expect CIC will show early next week when the money clears out of my CC.

I see that the latest person to get AOR is fsw2174. His details are:

1. Date of AOR: 19th Sept.
2. Date of PER: 8th Aug
3. NOC 2174

Going by the above, I think I will wait for 10 to 12 working days for my AOR. I came to this guesstimate as I got my PER on 19th Aug.

Anybody care to comment? I mean if your application is processed from NDVO, I know you will have to wait longer.

How long is the question…
