To know the status of your application by calling CIC
from outside Canada dial - 0016139444000
select
1 for English then
1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to CIC then
1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
remember they might tell you we don't have access to the system, you should call them 1 more day, if they says again try it again.
tell them i have an application in progress and i want to know the client ID number. i did the same and it worked.

Yes but AOR just keep you update that local vo has got it and by issuing AOR it confirm that your case is place in queue for processing.

I received AOR from new delhi. AOR Letter issued on sep 5 but received email from NDVO on sep 16.

I asked this question on the forum, without satisfactory answers. But here is my lawyer's reply now, so I hope it can help all those with similar question(s):

Question: For the past month only, my bank balance went below $11,115 but I am putting back more money in it in a couple of days. I have always had more than the required funds the whole time since application and can also put more, if needed.

But just for the last month, I went a little low and didn't notice, would that have any effect on my ongoing application (when they ask for proof of funds again at the time of medical request maybe).

Please advise.

Usually bank statements are requested simply to ascertain whether or not your account has had any major deposits, (in excess of $ 10, 000 CAD) but not necessarily to evaluate your average balance.

It will not have an affect on the status of your application.

Did you get charged then?If yes, when? usually after getting charge then only one waits for a PER. Please confirm.
