I do not think anyone can give you a specific answer bcos it depends on the individual application and the visa officer (not necessarily visa office) concernd. All the people I know personally that got PR about four of them, their employers were not contacted and they were not asked for a second proof of fund but I have read someone here whose employers were not only contacted, but they were also asking for the company's yearly turn over. So a lot of factors determine if they need to do a background check and the supporting documents and also your background itself. I dont think they be much disturbed to dig deep into someone with oxford or harvard degrees as they would with someone with degrees from one third or fourth world country that claims to be working in one obscure company. This is purely my own thinking.

But the ECAS status Shows that "In Process: We have received your application for PR on June 14th, 2013"

Hey guys..

I am really stressed out, I have applied under 2147 and my application was received on June 27, 2013 and signed by Dexter. I thought they have started working on fourth week of June, I have been constantly checking my credit card details and my e-mail still nothing. The question here is how updated is the spreadsheet which our senior members are maintaining? From what I can see from the spreadsheet, no forum member's CC/DD has been en-cashed whose application was received during fourth of June.

I know Veer how it feels!! But don't worry as I strongly believe that you will get it soon. However, to be more sure, I would suggest to email CIO as that can through some light on it. Or if you hired consultant, then you better confirm from them and ask them to check the spam or junk. These consultant hardly do any work on their own.

Thanks Catalyst for ur kind words.....i submitted my application by self (no consultant)....my email is setup on outlook and i even check web gmail as well to ensure my AOR is not lying in spam or trash.....the only good news I have is that ....I have sent a query mail to CIC since my spouse changed her employer....they replied back that my file was already sent to NDVO and only they will be able to answer my queries now....Praying hard to ensure NDVO looks into my file and send me AOR next week.....Need best wishes from everyone!!!
