I called them but they just gave me uci but didnt tell me the status of my application.I tried them 5 times.IVR means using phone keypad to eneter uci and birth year if so I have tried it.

so.. was there any update available after entering UCI ?

Just a question: to those that had their application returned due to Cap being full, did you get any UCI number? and if so, does it tell you anything if you tried to use it to check on the CIC web site? what does the UCI mean exactly? Just dont see why issue UCI numbers if the application is returned.

Yes they give uci no to returned app also, why I really dont know. Last time my wife's file was returned due to cap full with uci no in it

True, what I observe that they assign uci than start initial checking if all forms and furtheer process. So uci is alwyas there
