I obtained my UCI over the phone. I was visiting the tracking spreadsheet very often in mid August when I found out that most of the applicants had received their PER's within 7 to 14 days after CC Charges. So I asked dear forum members and they gave me instructions to contact CIC via phone. I called them on 19th Aug and a nice lady provided my UCI by which I was able to check my ECAS.

Give them a call today first in the morning and obtain your UCI, then send an email to the address I provided, so they may provide some response within a month (20 working days )

Having UCI in hand you will have some other thing to waste your invaluable life, just by checking your ECAS 10 times a day as I do ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

What does your ECAS state..??

I am sorry to share the news that on the auspicious day of festival Ganesh Chaturti(Hindu festival) , I got a mail from my consultant that my application is returned back as the cap is full for 1112 Financial Analyst.Last 4 months have been a tough time.

CIC is a useless bunch of people playing with our emotions & wasting our money.

Streamlining of the process is required.

Earlier I have been in UK , Germany & Belgium on work permit but never my Work visa was rejected.

North America seems to be unlucky for me as
1) I had applied for Canadian Work visa in 2010 it got rejected due to some technical reasons (due to employers fault-salary was less.)
2) US L1 visa is rejected .
3) Canada P.R visa is returned back as cap is full.(My consultant & Wes delayed the process though all my documents were ready by 15 May 2013)

I thank all of the forum members for their support.
Shifting to plan B trying for Australia & making my spouse as Principal Applicant & then again take up IELTS & repeat the process & try luck with Australia

They have been updating on Monday, but since last week Monday was off for them on account of Labour Day, they updated on Tuesday. Otherwise going by spread sheet dates, it is start of the week updation.

Mostly they announced every Tuesdays evenings. .. ;D ;D

But don't worry .... as per your date .... hopefully you will make it within the cap.

They do the update EOB on first working day of the week, one exception when the CAP was reached for 2 NOCs they did it on Fri, and last week as Monday was off, they did it on Tuesday.

I agree with you AbdelAllah will be surprised if the 230 to 250 guess comes through for 2147...

Dear Subodh, personally I wish you are correct and CAP is 230-250 so in this case the argument you have made earlier is correct that CAP is about applications passed stage 1 "completeness".
If my guess is correct so the CAP is reflecting the applications passed stage 2 or 3, and in this case my chances get narrowed to fall in CAP.

Why do you think, 2147 may not cross 200???
