Why some of the DDs take more time to be encashed, approx. 14 days, but some of them just take 7 days????????????????????????
I think some of them are related to foreign banks, and some of them are related to inside of Canada banks.

As I said earlier...u bring me a smile again :)
But some gut feeling in me thinks the way u have put. But then nobody really knows what is happening ...fingers crossed.

Hi All

My previous employer (NOC one) not agreed to mention the salary and time fram in the experience certificate.

However as per CIC it is mandotery to mention the Salary withdrawn and the time period in the Experience certificate.

Anyone who get PER, has send the experience certificate without salary / time period,

A quick response in this is highly appreciable.

Thanks and Regard in advance

Dear respective friends,

Just quick question and please somebody answers me!
How can you know that your file has been delivered safely to the CIC ? l mean do the CIC notify the applicant by receiving his file once delivered or only notify him by NER or PER after reviewing the submmitd documents?

l have sent my documents by courier (Aramex) and I have been notified by delivery notification. Is that enough???

Appreciate you prompt response. Thanks in advance.

Hi

It is fine with what you have sent. CIC are aware that it is not the norm for companies to issue experience letters as per CIC requirements. Also, a person might have only recently planned to immigrate to Canada, and thus it would not be possible for him to get detailed letters from previous employers.

The Ministerial Instruction check, Minimum Requirements check and Selection Criteria Check are all focused to determine positively that you have a job which qualifies under the 29 eligible occupations, that your job responsibilities broadly match as per the NOC specification for that job and that you have proved that you have x years of experience to match with the points that you have claimed under the employment section.

It really depends on the VO to carry out or order detailed/further background checks including checks on your employment where they could request and verify salary details, position, period worked etc.

Anyways, an ideal employment letter is detailed in the Document Checklist IMM5612 (05-2013) E, on Pg.4, Section 12 as follows:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

"12

Work Experience

For the principal applicant:

letters of reference from all your employers for the past 10 years.

Letters must be:

written on company letterhead,
signed by the responsible officer/supervisor,
show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, a-mail and website addresses,
stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable).

Letters must include all of the following information:

the specific period of your employment with the company,
the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time you spent in each position,
your main responsibilities and duties in each position,
your total annual salary plus benefits in each position , and
the number of hours worked per week in each position.

Additional supporting documents may include:
copies of work contracts, and
copies of pay stubs."

Wowwww!!!

See what I said!!! It will rain!!!!!

Many Many Many Many congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

What surprises me is, for 2147 as an example:
- CAP update on Monday 19-Aug: 104
- CAP update on Friday 23-Aug: 116
So 4 working days = 12 Cases (as CAP is updated late Monday 19th, I took it off).

- CAP update on Tuesday 3-Sep: 179
So 6 working days = 63 Cases

Putting into account that encasement pace is almost the same for the two periods mentioned above, meaning that they process one week's cases every one working week -approximately-.

Does this mean that CAP is based on completeness (Stage 1) rather than encashement or PER (stages 2 -3)?

Just a thought.....

Ask the courier company to give you the proof of delivery ( ideally you can see that in the online tracking ,at what time and who has received it )
