Disappointing cap update for 2147! Over 60 jump in one week. Not looking good for anyone past first week of July.

Hi FSW2174,

I have 1 query. Great details you have given here. There are 3 points, A, B, C:

A. The 1st points says: "Completeness check by CIC, Sydney".
B. CIC CAP Updated column says "Number of complete applications counted towards the 300 sub-cap"
C. I called up CIC just now, and the lady told me that CAP updated on website is after checking that all received applications are complete, and no docs or forms are missing and she clearly told that for these updated caps it is NOT necessary that processing fee has been charged or the PER mail has been issued.

Hence based on above 3 points, These updated CAPS are just after first stage, i.e COMPLETENESS CHECK BY CIC, which you have mentioned in your post. So since it is updated on 3rd Sep 2013, may be these updated caps are for applications received till last to last week, may be 21st Aug 2013.

Had it been updated based on completeness on Aug 21, we should have at least 3 NOC 2145 in update column. There is only one person in 2145 and thats I think is here from one month. I think this update is from or before 1st week of AUG as i remember another NOC 2145 was charged in first 10 days of Aug. My DD was encashed on Aug 21.

Had it been updated based on completeness on Aug 21, we should have at least 3 NOC 2145 in update column. There is only one person in 2145 and thats I think is here from one month. I found out some time ago that without a doubt Cap update is presented according to CC/DD charged!

I know it shall take 5 minutes of time but will immensely benefit as every time referring to spreadsheet to look up details of a particular member in case he/she needs advice may not be practical for all .....Even Basic info like...
1. NOC
2. Visa Office
3. App received date
4. PER received dateshall be enough..
Let me give steps on how to update for ease of all..
1. Go to profile section on top right of the forum
2. Go to "Forum Profile Information" under " Modify Profile" on the Left side panel
3. Scroll down and update Visa Office, NOC Code, App Filed (mention App filed date and PER date here if received)
4. Hit "Change Profile" to save
Advice: Leave everything else blank as it un-necessarily takes up page when you post something and everyone needs to scroll down to see next post (if you are browsing via smartphone or tablets).

I found out some time ago that without a doubt Cap update is presented according to CC/DD charged!

I find you guys happy on others pain (n not even hesitate in doing fun while others are really worried & trying to find any hope based on any sort of assumption) ...someone might be wrong in his assumption or even may be right (coz no one knows the actual process CIC is following in updating CAPS n this is true that they are not clearly mentioning anything so that the cloud gets cleared for the applicants of HOT NOCs still eagerly waiting for any positive update)...don't forget that few days back u were also in the same boat...however, wish for your good luck
