Hassan Brother,

When i had applied last time and my application returned due to points, The background form had a tick, where I had written my name in English ( no native language written there even, ) That means it was right and acceptable by CIC. This is understood by the fact that they do check and I had done a mistake by writing my Parents name and the CIC guy crossed it out and wrote it by hand that since they are not my dependents it shld not include them .

I hope it helps and CIC does not overlook , its the second place on our Background form . It cant go unnoticed.
But obviously we should follow what we think is best.
its just my experience my thoughts my opinions.
We all are good to follow whats best.
hope it helps.

I know, its been there. I have been trying myself since 2008. However, ALWAYS better to follow official requirements as much as one can. If application goes unnoticed and is passed, its to our benefit :)

Hi prince_of_darkness. I think what he means is the address labels in English and native language that should be sent along with the application (inside the envelope).

Please print the address in English and the local language of your place of residence on a white sticker paper and enclose it inside the envelope along with your application. (For example, I live in the UAE and sent the address label inside the envelope in english and arabic).

Of course on the outside of the envelope, you will put a label in english with CIO and your address.

Thanks to all who replied. I really appreciated. I am currently finishing my documents and hopefully I can send it by this week.
I am doing it by myself and with this forum it serves as my online consultant :D

Tomorrow I will some white sticker paper.

Thanks again.

Goodluck to all of you!

If you dig out previous document check list u will find the same thing written, its nothing new
Its not that I am forcing anyone to do what I have done, Its just my experience,
Its upto an applicant to do whats best for them.

There is such facility for outsiders.
All the best.

I never heard of a case was rejected because the application didn't include mailing labels, has anyone heard of such a case?

Has anyone applied for a police certificate / criminal record check from the FBI? The FBI website says it could take up to 5/6 weeks but the CIC website says between 16 and 18 weeks! This would be a problem for us as we need to submit the certificate to vienna within 90 days. Anyone who has applied - can you remember how long it took?

Many thanks!

I applied for my FBI police certificate on 25th June 2013 and received the results back on 7th August 2013 (6 weeks in total including mailing). I was residing in the US back then, so mailing period back and forth was short (~1 week)...so it took approximately 5 weeks of processing time.

I got my PER few weeks back and I was a single applicant till that moment but I am planning to get married in next few weeks and few questions are running in my mind.

1. Will my min score requirement change after I get married?
2. My wife doesn't have a WES report and IELTS. Do I need to submit any of this?

have u applied fsw 2013 program?

If yes then 1. You need 67 point to qualify if u r single or married
2. For Spouse ,WES and ielts not required if u r scoring 67 points. Else ielts only required.

yes correct so no point of WES for spouse, IELTS if you want\need increase score. if your score is 67 or above no need ti do anything.

Thanks for the quick response. I have >67 points.

So all I need to do is send her details with some forms, marriage certificate, PCC etc.

It took 4-5 weeks in my case. No expedite service...just a regular one.
