The noc code was ok, but my designation was written instead of noc occupation.....

What is your designation? I mean does it indicate something irrelevant to the NOC you applied for? One person wrote lecturer as his occupation and that's why he got his application returned.

I am June 18th applicant.
Yesterday I called CIC Call centre and asked whether they could find my Client ID. After giving my name and Date of birth the call centre agent told that he found my name in the system, but the only details he can see is my application received date ie.18th June 2013.

On my previous attempt to get the UCI number last week, they told that they couldn't find any information about me on the system. Is this a positive sign that they started processing my file or at lease my file is not rejected till now?

Experts please comment.....

It is a positive sign, they haven't assessed your app properly yet. I called yesterday and told me they could not not find my cliend ID, even though I am 11 June applicant ...

AS PER OLD CALCULATION Below is ASSUMPTION / calculation for 2147 :


47 candidates out 73 from the forum received PER whose files were received until 14 june, which is 33.57% of global 140 candidates

(47/140)*100 = 33.57 .

The forum represents 33.57 % of the global CAP.

160 seats left for 2147,

33.57 % of 160 = 54, so being 33.57 %. Around 54 more candidates from the forum should be able to make it to the CAP out of 160.

There are 5 lucky candidate whose CC or DD have been charged but PER yet to be received 54-5 = 49, from , so 49 more candidates have a chance to get encashed and receive PER very safely.
we have 44 candidates in our spreadsheet, so all of us are safe

I dnt see a recent cap update....so cap update is also an assumption in ur calculation?

Yes i have, tried IVR but once I enter my UCI there is silence and then tape says " an error has occured"

(THERE IS CHANCE OF BOTH BUT)
first you remove your thought from your brain about refusal, why are you thinking negative, everything will be fine with you.
and second , system will not give you status immidiately , it takes time even after getting PER it requires to wait for 1 week to see online status.
