Maina,

Do you know any other way for me to contact the CIC. I do not have a smartphone so can not call them using the mobile apps. I am based out of US. Is there anyway I can contact them from US? Also, if you know their email ID, appreciate if you let me know.

You may use services like Skype and Google Voice from your laptop.

Seniors/Admin pls Help!!
I just called CIC and gave my name and DOB. The nice lady on the phone agreed to look up the system, but unable to give my UCI yet. However, she was able to tell my email address. Please help me figure out where I am
- IS my file rejected?
- Are they in the middle of the process of updating my information in the system so only my email id was available right now
- Or they just entered the acknowledgement of application received
- Or they had my email id recorded in their system when i called earlier?

My file reached there on 18th June and was signed by T. Macintyre(Ironically Am the ONLY one in the entire forum who's application was received and signed by him)

Yes there is no problem, even you can put three, if you work in three areas. But remember, you will get points only on the years you have worked in the NOC you are applying.
Hi stranger, As per CIC they require minimum 1 year experience to apply in same NOC within last 10 years. But it is not mentioned anywhere on website, that applicant gets point for same NOC only.As per my information, Your total work experience is considered whether it would be from two or more different fields but same NOC experience should be at least 1 year in that experience. pls share your experience more on it.

A Good News for me.

Just checked my bank account and it seems that my CC has been charged.

My NOC is 2147 and application received on 14th June.

Dear Admin, Please update the above in Database.

I am so happy but at the same time bit worried about getting the PER. When I will get that?

Anyway this forum is so helpful and the members are fabulous.

Congrats royopp! I'm so happy for you. My NOC is 2147, and I am a 24th June applicant, and officially, you are now out of my way!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Ideally, your PER should be hitting your mailbox in the next 10 days. Congrats once again!

You all used DD as payment. It might be a nice idea to call up your banks and confirm if your DDs have been en-cashed and give us a feedback. Thanks!

Moderators,
Please update application received on 10th june.
Many thanks,
Udayyy

Please don't fret! My file reached on 24th June and I called CIC on Monday. They looked up my information, but could not find it in the system either. The nice agent I spoke with advised me to call again on 6th September.

Thanks but how was she able to tell my email address correctly :o

Thanks for all the well wishes ;D @MassHunter I can't send PMs, but to answer your question it says it wasn't able to identify me. From what I've read in this forum, ECAS is updated once per week??

I can see I am not the only one who used the old Schedule 3 form. In fact my application was received on May 6. But then the package returned in early June because of the old Schedule 3 form. I resent it again on the same day I got it, so they received it again on June 14. The guys in the call center were unable to find me in the system. Anyone in the same situation from the 1112 category?

andyart, is it possible that they have returned your application ONLY because you've used the old form? nothing else was missing in you app, there wasn't any other info you've forgotten to attach, pages to fill...? i'm also sent my app with the old form, but i cannot believe that they would return the whole app just because of that, since the info on the new and the old form are exactly the same! i emailed their office, asking if they would attach my additional submission (new form) to my existing file if i send it in, and they said they cannot guarantee. thoughts?

Yes, I am sure it was only the old form, as they enclosed a letter specifying what exactly was wrong. The two forms are not the same, though similar.
