Hello All, Congrts to those who got the PER. I had sent my application package for NOC 2147 on June 24th but have not received any acknowledgement from CIC yet. Has anyone who applied around that time heard from CIC? Also, I am in USA. Is there any USA no. where I can call to get the status? I know a Canada customer support no. but it does not work from US.

Your help is appreciated.

It seems that more than 20% of applicants are applied on first week of june, we won't have any cc charge on this week. :-\

Let me tell you story of BC issuing authority and approving and translating process.

There are three body who provides BC in India.

It depend on place of birth and from there parents or individual have to go to collect BC.

1. Gram panchayat - for people who born in village usually have birth certificate from gram panchayat. It covers parents details , DoB , issue date and place of date. EVERTHING written in native language.

2.Taluka panchayat - this is for those who born in Taluka. BC will lookalike as gram panchayat.

3. Municipal corporation - people who born in city. Will get birth certificate in English and native language.

However , if I talk about Gujarat state , in these days newborn child can get BC in English and native language from all above body.

Coming to your point. If some one has problem in BC which are related to....

1. Mismatch birth date in documents , BC and passport ext
2. No birth record in corporation
3. Or any other problem related to BC can be solved very easy way but it will take ATLEAST 1 month.

Go to the district court and file your case , mention whatever problem you have related to BC , they will ask you to provide evidence , show it to judge. Then he will pass order to municipal corporation to issue the BC if your case is genuine.

Let me know in detail what is problem in case of your in-law BC or your wife BC

I am sure I will guide you very nicely as the solution which I have told is same throughout the India!!!

I have seen people got BC though they never issue from government. You will find such mate in this forum , I just forgot the name of that buddy.

I have read in this forum earlier some weeks ago that there are alternates to BC, I cant remember forum mates name

If anyone knows it. kindly let me know. especially from India. ( Alternates to BC)

Hi guys,
I sent documents to WES by DHL and I already received DHL notification that letter have been delivered on 27/8/2013 at 10:51 AM to WES
now it is 28/8/2013 at 3:52 PM and my application status is "Waiting required documents"
Please advise what I should do?

Really sorry to hear that. You are the first 2131 to receive a rejection. In my opinion I think you can still make it within the cap. Send the application back as soon as you receive it.

FINALLY I could get my application status.... IT HAS BEEN RETURNED ON JULY 30!!!
because I had a job offer letter but as I told you it did not have HRSDC approval and they have asked for the approval!!!
someone tell them that if I had that approval I did not need to go under a category they are realllllyy stupid my overall score without job offer was 79 but they have returned it... I should not enclose that job offer to my application I SHOULD'NTTTTTT
it has been a month and I have not received it yet... I think when I receive it and take the job offer letter and send it again the cap would be reached.
