DEAR MEMBERS
FINALLY I could get my application status.... IT HAS BEEN RETURNED ON JULY 30!!!
because I had a job offer letter but as I told you it did not have HRSDC approval and they have asked for the approval!!!
someone tell them that if I had that approval I did not need to go under a category they are realllllyy stupid my overall score without job offer was 79 but they have returned it... I should not enclose that job offer to my application I SHOULD'NTTTTTT
it has been a month and I have not received it yet... I think when I receive it and take the job offer letter and send it again the cap would be reached.

I thought that applicants with valid job offers are not affected by the CAP.

"Once we reach the cap, we can only accept applications under this occupation from people with a valid job offer in place."

Sorry to hear it. May be you can try and get an HRSDC approval for your job offer and then you would not have to worry about the CAP limits any more.

Keep the faith....resend and still try to get approval so even if the cap if full you have a back up plan!

Even I had a birth certificate issued by Kolkata Municipal Corportaion which is Hand written and all the stamps are even deteriorating. But I guess they accepted it.

Can you PM me the exact words they wrote .

Also to any members who had alternatives of BC from india especially from Kolkata region kindly let me know what are the alternatives to full fill BC criteria ( my spouse does not have one and LVO has asked for it. ) And its hard for me get one especially being away from India.
Would be great help if someone let me know the various alternatives which has been successful .

hello friends i got my package back yesterday

....earlier when i got info from cic dat my file is returned on july 15.... dat time they also gave the reason.....
1. missing travel form
2.no birthcertificate included or secondary school record

bt when i got my pacage back ....both my n my spouse bc were there....i dont know why they didnt find birth certi or they hv find any problem in it.....

bt they also included a note ....
"if u r unable to provide ur bc or secodary school record which show ur date of birth n parantage ,please provide an affidavite which include ur date of birth...ur full name...n ur parents name......"


i am in big dillema ....wat to do now...?

the one thing i want to specify ...dat my birth certificate detail in english ....bt it is hand -written from authority....so dat is d main culprit......or what

As we know the cap is reached for the two most popular NOCs 1112 / 2174.

Please let us know if any one of these NOCs have got got their application package back by mail ?

It is not hand written and it has so many stamps and signature on it!!!

Hello All, Congrts to those who got the PER. I had sent my application package for NOC 2147 on June 24th but have not received any acknowledgement from CIC yet. Has anyone who applied around that time heard from CIC? Also, I am in USA. Is there any USA no. where I can call to get the status? I know a Canada customer support no. but it does not work from US.

Your help is appreciated.
