Hello,

I have applied through an attorney, how can I check my status through ECAS? I have a GC key login from a previous visit visa application, would that work? Also can you provide me with the link for ECAS?thanks

The CIC CAP update page was last updated yesterday...

Page is updating with numbers but no-one reporting CC charge... ???

Might be they are ignoring Forum members..

I called my bank many times to know DD status. They say we can't know at all.
Wonder how come most of you are able to know the status

mine was the 23rd may application but was returned on 26th july. you application should have been processes few weeks ago. I would email CIC and keep my fingers crossed.

My ECAS status is showing application received on 8th May 2013. I also haven't heard anything then after (after PER), with no AOR letter etc.

Spoke to my consultant and other forum members and seems like NDVO sometimes don't bother to send AOR. We will probably hear from them for Medicals only. ;D

Hi APSK...

Dude any news on 2174.........I know the CAP has reached. But Just want to know whether you have got your UCI.

In our of earlier posts - Living Miracle - has mentioned that he still thinks that there could be hopes even for people whose application reached sometime in June 2nd week.

Atleast I want a confirmation from CIC that I have missed the CAP....so that I could close this in my mind....

Can the representative of us call and get the UCI number (as i filed thru a consultancy)..pl. let me know.

Though there is no harm in calling CIC now as the agent did not ask me how many weeks or time had passed since I had sent in my application. However, best practice and the general forum experience indicates that an average wait time of about 8-10 weeks (since the application was received at CIC) is suggested before making any inquiries.

Even if the cap is reached they would accept some applications in waiting list (dont know upto what extent though).

So if any of the apps r rejected from the accepted apps, then the wait listed apps wud b given preference. So chillax and dont lose hope mate

Well, seems we r sailing in the same boat. Our bank also said they cannot backtrack whether the DD has been encashed or not.

So now, we will have to simply wait for an Email correspondence from CIC.
