That Colombo vo might have less applicant, is that the reason NOVA1112 got per soon.

What do you think about our NDVO?

Colombo VO has current processing time longer than Vienna VO, so this MR that NOVA1112 received is a big surprise for me.
Anyway, we all hope that all other VO will start issuing MR's soon.

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and only just discovered it after my husband's application was returned incomplete.

The initial application NOC 2147 reached May 23rd but our employment references did not include roles and duties. It took us time to get the specified one and we sent the updated employment references to CIC by end of July. But I guess by then they had already dealt with the file so they couldn't match them. After an email enquiry we got a response that file was returned first week of August as incomplete.

We have now sent a new package to CIC which reach yesterday but without original IELTS as BC have refused to give us but said they can only send it directly to CIC so we put in an explanatory not to that effect and asked BC to send original IELTS.

My query now is will they honour explanatory note and original from CIC directly. I wish we had seen this forum before we submitted. We would not have made such a mistake as we are seriously hoping we fall in to the cap

Please see below the updated package entry;

Dear Friend,
Please find the below statement:

Site: http://get2canada.wordpress.com/2nd-copy-of-ielts-results/
In the UK there is a law called the Data Protection Act which in a nutshell means you can demand that anyone who holds information about you on their computer systems discloses such information in writing to you upon request. They are allowed to charge an admin fee for such a service, but they cannot legally refuse to provide the information. I believe that IELTS test results fall under this law, and that the British Council is potentially breaking the Data Protection Act by refusing to provide in writing a copy of the results.

So according to "Data Protection Act " in UK we could claim for copy of IELTS from BC. Please state regarding this law also while enquiring about the copy, surely it might work :)

I called yesterday ... Got the UCI at first call ... but IVR and ECAS showed nothing ... Today only it seems IVR has been updated..

But their ECAS is static as before, it still showing 'Unable to identify' ... probably it will be updated shortly ... !

Hi dear Sameerpatel125,
Very sad to hear your news..we were in the same boat... waiting for the per.I sent u PM.
U told that u got UCI...but did not get per.
U checked online status where u did not get any update like "In process.." instead showed "unable to identify"..
Can we conclude uci does not give any positive hope unless we receive any per ?
I am now expecting same fate for me...but i need to confirm from cic..
I tried yesterday but they hve no access to system to check it..
F***king agents..
Anyway my best wishes with u..pls apply again...
U can withdraw ielts TRF by requesting the ielts centre..
I withdrawn it for myself..

If you are talking about the IMM0008, there are two sections 12.a and 12.b

In the 12.a section, you fill only one NOC, which is the one you are applying for.

The section 12.b you can fill with whichever NOCs you have worked in the past 10 years.

In my case I have listed my jobs in 2132 and 2174 NOCs.

IN Section 1.2 a i filled two NOC 2132 & 0211, i know there is only one box is given, but i wrote below of that box with Pen. In Section 1.2 b , yes, you can specify multiple NOC, but my main worries about section 2.1a.

I am not too sure if one can get a duplicate TR of IELTS. BC gives only one report to the candidate. However they can send directly to any institute.

Hi all,

ece24544 applied under the same NOC as I did (2147), and CIC received his application on Friday, 10 May. Mine arrived in Sydney on Monday, 13 May.

What is the significance of this email? I see that it provides a UCI number, which you probably didn't know until the email. I expect that I will be receiving this email at some point, but I don't know what to make of it.

What's the difference between a UCI and an Immigration File Number/Application Number? Does the UCI allow you to see more info about the progress of your application?

ABOUT COLLECTING ORIGINAL IELTS RESULT SECOND COPY FROM BRITISH COUNCIL

They actually comply with their data protection act globally (http://www.britishcouncil.org/home-data-protection.htm). In my country also, they will not going to give you any copy of IELTS result, but they will send to 5 organizations!

I called them( main branch in my city from where I collect my IELTS result) and talked with their IELTS unit:

Told them I send my copy to CIC and I need a copy for myself.

They asked ' Do I have any documents that I send to CIC: like DHL, fedex Shipment invoice?'

I said yes, they said no prob come to our office and you have to do below to get your result sheet:

1. Bring your invoice of sending original IELTS result to CIC (DHL,Fedex, UPS invoice: if you don't have it try to collect it from the courier as it computer composed, hopefully they can help)

2. Bring the CIC checklist where it written they need original IELTS result from you

3. You have fill a form at their office (British council)

4. You have to pay a small amount of fees.

Then you can collect your result after 48 hours of requesting :D

So dear all, let's not procrastinate and contact your own British council office and talk with them.
