The update is in accordance of no. Of per sent not no. of complete/charged applications.... as in 2145 category we have two applicants who have been charged and non of them received the PER...

As per cic update its 1 person in this category so far.. This is might be some other person who received the PER/ If it would have been on complete or CC charged we would have had 3 so far...

I know i am out of the race however just thought of sharing the observation

Hi Nautics......good to see you are sticking around, we have the same VO. You have no worries there, you should be more worried about Kingston VO...not on strike but no updates yet. Your ECAS status says you are " In Process" so you should be fine.

Wow congrats....so r u da 1st one in noc 3211 to receive PER? Coz I m also from same noc n have still not received it...but after mailing cic twice they send me application number n I can check my file status in ecas...in progress is wat it says...don know wat lies ahead...

How can i use IVR. I have UCI too

Call CIC on +1-613-944-4000
hear each of the options. Press the numbers in this sequence after every option step - 1 1 2 1 2 1. Be sure to hear the option completely before you select.

After the last selction, the IVR asks you to enter your UCI. Enter all eight digits.

If your case is been activated, it will prompt you for last four digits of primary applicant's DOB. And then tell you that either the date of receipt of your application (as in my case now) or your case is process.

If the case is not activated, don't worry. It will once the next update occurs - in which case it might say we couldn't locate the information (or invalid UCI). This happened to me earlier.

Hi.... Just to update if anyone faces this problem... I remember reading somewhere that if IELTS authorities refuse to send you a duplicate copy on your address, you can bypass the system by giving them a friends address to send the duplicate..... Apparently it is your address they do not accept for duplicate but any alternate address can be shown as an organisation you want your result to be sent to...

I am new to this forum and only just discovered it after my husband's application was returned incomplete.

The initial application NOC 2147 reached May 23rd but our employment references did not include roles and duties. It took us time to get the specified one and we sent the updated employment references to CIC by end of July. But I guess by then they had already dealt with the file so they couldn't match them. After an email enquiry we got a response that file was returned first week of August as incomplete.

We have now sent a new package to CIC which reach yesterday but without original IELTS as BC have refused to give us but said they can only send it directly to CIC so we put in an explanatory not to that effect and asked BC to send original IELTS.

My query now is will they honour explanatory note and original from CIC directly. I wish we had seen this forum before we submitted. We would not have made such a mistake as we are seriously hoping we fall in to the cap

I think u should talk to your employer and sort this out..tell him/her that you need for this purpose.. hopefully they wil help u
