For the last two days we have not heard of any news of CC charge or receipt of PER.

However, let me break this pattern and let it start raining.

Don't ask for the STATUS of your application, just tell them that its been more than 2 months that you have filed your application and you hav'nt heard back from CIC, can you please look in for a client ID so that i can check my status online. Just ask for client ID and don't ask about the status. The call center agent will ask for your basic details and might provide you one, provided if its generated on their system.

Try it.. hope it might work.

Just called CIC now to atleaSt get UCI, but bad luck for the sixth time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DD, 22 May application received. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
The smart ladies there refuse to give up...........Even I wont, she asked me you called me last week and if you call 10 times answer will be same.........

I got two different ladies and found both of them really helpful.

hi paranoid I am applied on 21074 dated Jun 4th 2013 just now i called cic on number 0016139444000 twice and i did'nt get the exact information from them, they told me that it is not the right place and taken down my mail id and informed that they will send contact info e-mail within 5 working days.

please help me with correct phone number and mail id for cic to get my status / client id / UCI

My NOC's 0211 and app received by D.Margetti. I got my CC charged after 76 days (two and a half months) of filing the application (31st-May) and yet to hear anything about PER. Since, your app received on 3-Jul you have a long to way to go. Probably, you can hear any news after approx. 60 to 80 days starting from 3rd July.

Currently, CIO is working on apps received in first week of June so your app is still lying unopened in the queue.

Hmmm Maybe we will get a cap update tomorrow. I wonder what it will look like? Persons from the Hong Kong VO any updates?

One from HK vo got her MER already and even been asked to pay RPRF fees. While poor us from BEIJing has not received ME yet. :'(
